  1. The same one I make every year - to try and get myself back in shape! Particularly important this year as I'm now working from home and therefore barely move each day. I think I'd like to make it to my fortieth....
  2. everyone has got that flu ! except me - mrs gixxer reckons i've got a cold (aka man flu) Be thankful you haven't got it - we've been down with it since Boxing Day and I'm only beginning to feel vaguely normal today. Looking forward to next Chrimbo now...
  3. Some very good points here. Particularly: - Most of us change tyres when our old ones are shot, so of course they seem fantastic - Most of us haven't had the opportunity to test a number of different makes back to back on a Zed to give an accurate comparison Wise words, oh sage!
  4. Happy New Year to all!!! (Mrs Digsy & I have got the flu so no parties for us this year... )

  8. Would have to be kitted up to work for me... Agree. Gixxer's pic does look good, but I think the centre of the wheels help that quite a lot. That's what i thought.

    Not convinced...
  12. Yep, phone, laptop and all that shite all linked to our exchange server but don't use them. My boss is the only one who uses my calendar. Schedules meets for me that I promptly forget about. I usually write the important stuff on my hands and, of course, wash it off. While in the office today I remembered one from 2 or 3 weeks ago that I'm going to pay for this week. Fun. Now back to a day of doing nothing. Was beaten in the poker by trip 6's, watched I am legend and National Treasure 2. Time for another poker tournament. Legend any good, Guy?
  13. compared to top gear though you dont mind 5th gear purely because of your hunger for car related progs Of course its no where near as good as Top Gear but I still sky+ it as its car based and means I don't have to endure things like corrie and eastenders etc Having just seen something called Vroom Vroom on Sky3 I've got a new found respect for Fifth Gear. What a pile of sh1te! The main bloke (him with the FA Cup ears) seems to think that fitting a rear wing to a car will give it more traction off the line.....
  14. Disagree Digsy - UK Type R sucks and none of the testers I respect have rated it - a poor imitation of the earlier model. The JDM that wanta350 has found is a far superior car - and as good as an Integra - better if you need 4 doors/seats. The only downside from what I hear is the ride is VERY hard so not exactly family orientated which might not go down too well with the women in wanta350's life. You seem to have misunderstood me, mate. I said I would be interested if it "looked" like the UK car (which has taken a hammering in the motoring press but not for its looks which are streets ahead of the old "breadvan") and "went" like the JDM that has been posted here, which is as you say a superior car to drive (although it looks like the disgraceful electric Civics that you see around). PS The Stig likes the UK car but does seem to be in the minority.
  15. If it looked like the UK Type R but went like the JDM I'd be more interested.
  16. Well maybe your right but Toyota for example had a great car in the MR2 roadster (biased I had 2) and decided to ditch it this year as it does'nt fit in with their (supposed green) tree hugging image they want to convey to the world? even though they were still making money on them and orders still comming in? So they would rather build boring but allegedly green friendly cars! Who knows maybe they are turning into the British Leyland of Japan! God help us all! Surely its not causing a part problem for MR2 owners is it Stan? I can't really see the problem.
