    Fender Styling

The Amuse is all wrong mate. It adds a styling line where there really shouldn't be one. I'm not a great fan but the first one is better.

    COLOUR Z

Yeah i'd have to agree on that!! Needs to ditch the shopping list as well! +1 That's how the wheels should fit on a Veilside widebody Zed.
  3. Are you sure? Wigan at home, two strikers on the bench, Gerrard playing as a holding striker!?!? A lot of us who have been big Rafa supporters are beginning to wonder at some of his more "original" tactical decisions. Bottom line is that on the evidence of the last few games we aren't good enough...
  4. Didn't you look out of place without a zimmer????

    Depreciation

Very unscientific indeed! I've not gone for a maintenance contract as I think they don't give value at my sort of mileage and just like buying a car you don't just find one lease rate - they vary wildly and lease companies can be played off against each other to get the lowest rate. I also imagine that the comparison may well vary significantly from car to car. Finally this takes no account of taxation for partnerships in the UK and is based on Belgian rates and prices.

I don't turn up in the Lambo so you'd never know What do you turn up in? My A3 Have we ever had pics? No. Its boring. I save my non zed pictures quota for my tango machine Oh come on, don't be shy! We want to laugh at you!
  10. I agree it looks great but it is just a lowered Zed on aftermarket alloys.

  13. The deal is that I lease from them at the normal leasing rate for the Zed. I take in my Zed and they give me a cheque for the full P/X value agreed on it. Ready cash to turn into profit. Trust me, I've weighed up the options, tax and VAT situation etc. and this is the way to go. TBH I've done little else for 2 months!
  14. PX'd against the lease car. How does that work? Didn't know you could do that? Can't with most lease co's but I'm leasing from Westway Nissan.

    Depreciation

That's it exactly. Liam, you can't compare leasing a car to renting a house because your house won't lose 40% of its value in 18 months. If the lease payments on a car are no more than the depreciation over the same time, what have you lost? Other than the grief of getting rid of the damn thing at the end.
  17. ...for my Zed, taken shortly before it was stripped of its goodies.
  18. Someone's posted pics of a Vauxhall Omega on a Zed site! Just kidding!

    Depreciation

Hmmmmmmmm This is the first non GT pack zed on pistonheads: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/311375.htm £17k but it is 3 yrs old and a bit overpriced imo. An 18 month old car right now is a 06 plate almost 56. There was a blue 07 non GT posted on here for £20k ish. Based on that I would hazard at a guess of about £18k for an 06 non GT zed based on a new price of £26,265. I assume your weighing up whether to have the GT pack? Nope. I'm weighing up whether to cancel my new car order as delivery doesn't seem to be getting any nearer. So, whats depreciation got to do with you cancelling your order? Surely if they're taking the ****, they are taking the ****. Not directly related but I'm leasing the car to free up cash for the business. We've got off to a flying start, which is great but will mean cashflow becomes very tight around next Spring/Summer. The increased turnover means I could actually do with spending a bit less on the car to give me some more flexibility when things get tight so I've been thinking about cancelling the order, something I can do without penalty given the delays. Back to the original question, the depreciation was just to give me an idea about how good my original deal was in comparison to buying. Pretty good actually! Decisions, decisions! Without knowing the specifics, surely there can't be much in it per month to buy the car e.g finance than leasing it? Hard to tell with out all the info.... The big difference is that lack of capital tied in a lease vehicle and the ease of disposal.
