Looking at the American sites there's no mention of 19" TDs just yet and the offsets for the GTRs look to be +20.

  6. Take out their demo. If it doesn't whine reject your car now. If you don't you may be in for a sh1t load of hassle later on.
  7. Anyone on here? Keep a look out for the car Police hunt fake crash carjackers A man from Manchester had his car hijacked by three masked men after pulling over to exchange insurance details following a crash in Blackpool. The 32-year-old driver stopped after his Nissan 350z was clipped by a Ford Mondeo on a roundabout on School Road. Three men, wearing balaclavas and wielding hammers, then forced him out of the vehicle and drove away. The incident happened on Sunday at 2130 BST. Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses. Left stranded The victim had been driving towards Manchester when the two cars collided on the roundabout at the top of School Road, between South Shore and St Annes. He was left stranded on the side of the road by his attackers. Police say the stolen azure blue Nissan and the dark-coloured Mondeo were seen heading towards junction one of the M55 motorway. DC Alan Quanbrough, of Lancashire Police, said: "We are very keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any further details relating to it." PS Thanks to the chap I nicked this off on the OC.
  8. Call them and ask for Dave the dealer principal. He is the Davros mentioned above (forum name). By all accounts he's a very decent chap and should be mortified by the state of your Zed. Let us know how you get on.
  9. Gearbox shouldn't whine any more than your mate's. Take it back.
  10. Sorry to hear this but if you are going to have non-locking ones and run it with them on day to day be prepared to lose a set on a regular basis. I eventually gave up and only put my fancy dust caps on for meets and special occasions. Shame it has to come to that. Remember that thread from when you had yours stolen Digsy? Yes...
  11. Car is sold On the basis of Phil's post here, maybe not... http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16089
  12. Not true, I'm afraid. The TCS is a driver aid not a failsafe. It will save you from most indiscretions in the wet but it can't change the laws of physics and several people have lost the rear with it on. It particularly seems to be a problem with people joining fast sliproads and getting the power on too early or hard.

  14. Good luck with the sale. There'll be someone along to offer you a DC5 shortly....
  15. 20 inch nitrogen filled tyres won't come down much if at all. The zed is technologically light years behind the GT-R. Its supercar performance and supercar maintainence costs. Agreed, but most of that has got to be the nitrogen and specialist equipment in fitting the things. I suppose if you want to beat 911 Turbos you can't have it all at half price! I think this nitrogen thing as been over blown, a local tyre outlet close to me as been giving this as an option for years for just a few quid extra. Demon Twerps have been doing it for years too.
  16. Rays do have an amazing knack of making big wheels look small. I presume they are much lighter than the standard rims because aesthetically they're a retrograde step...
  17. Cheaper to set up a group buy Rob and save on the shipping.
  18. What sort of stuff do you like doing on hols? Windsurfing? Fine art? etc etc....
  19. Good job, yes bad day yesterday, Chester as become a bit of a jinxed course for me recently. Thought Bo McGinty was going to do the buisness in the first though. Was right about the low stall numbers though Viva Ronaldo and Parisian Pyramid were in stalls 1 and 2 but finished the wrong way round. As long as you had a good day out, thats all that matters. Great day, and the call was much appreciated Dave - even if it didn't bring us any winners!
  20. Luckily I ignored Dave and had an EW on Supermassive Muse in the first race. No more winners until the final one so finished up on the day but not by much!
