    The favourite tyre size over the pond seems to be 245/40 and 275/40 but there's plenty of variations. Might be worth a PM to BigPhil as he used to run 18" rims on his Zed.

    You'd need the TPS sensors in the wheels too. Not worth the bother IMHO.

    Any modifications should be declared, upgrading to 19" wheels may make your car more desirable to thieves/joy riders (etc) and hence more of a risk +1 I'm afraid that if you do not declare mods the insurers can refuse to indemnify if you make a claim and the lack of performance gains will hold no water with them.

    That would mean putting 235/40's on the front to keep the rolling radius the same. I have 35 on the front & rear Nice new sig, Ian! Talking of sigs yours is about 3 years old ...but its a fond memory of the very first NW run so its staying! Rather than the one you 'banked' eh? Slightly less fond memory...thanks, mate!
