If you read the details on the Japfest website you will find that individual track sessions sold out a couple of months or so ago when the Z Club tried to purchase the 2nd dedicated Z session but were to late get this due to public demand There are no track places left to purchase through Japfest as all sold out Out of the 20 places of the session we have we allocated 7 places to the 350 club and believe these have all been taken but not sure if all have been paid for and the March 31st deadline is approaching before any unpaid for will be offered on a first paid gets the place

Martin can you update me with who as paid so far as we (the Z Club)purchased 80 tickets originally and want to access if we need to purchase some more but need to ensure that all tickets are sold on the various Z Forums before we purchase these as do not want to be left holding any surplus tickets By My reckoning on here there have been actually 21 entrance tickets paid for to date and 3 track sesssions could you confirm if this is correct as of this date

Not quite Martin if someone bought a ticket and was not coming in a Z they would not get a stand pass also if they bought a ticket direct from Future Publishing the organisers they would not get a stand pass with the ticket Also if entrance 2 tickets were bought together there would only be one stand pass issued unless both people were bringing Zs and requested 2 passes

believe John tarantula needs adding to list as his First block of 80 entrance tickets now paid for to ensure we get one of the premier locations as usual

which hotel bud as looking for alternatives as the Chippenham one is fully booked already

So sad my thoughts are with both the families Both so young and had their whole lives ahead of them Rest in peace

The two amazing things about The car you would like to take home award" was that on counting the Votes by the people who attended with one voting form to go was that it was tied between the White 350Z and the Red 240Z which was quite amazing as they were actually parked next to each other So it came down to the last voting slip and as you can guess I was realy holding my breath to see who had won out of these two excellent examples of the Z range the old v the new Which way was it going to go so eagerly unfold the last remaining voting slip to reveal the winner is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh shite the vote was neither of the two tied cars it was for a different one God what where we to do now The guys doing the counting discussed it and we decided that the fairest way was to get someone not involved in the Z scene so picked the guy who was doing the catering to cast the deciding vote and after much head scratching and oohs and arrrs he picked the white 350 as the car that got his vote In Twenty odd years of the Z Club awarding "the Car that you would like take home" trophy this has never happen before A big thank you for those who attended for it is your attendance at things like this that make the effort of putting events on all worthwhile Again a big thanks girls and guys and congrats to all the winners

Don't think we can help on the location of the club stand this year as they have moved us from our usual stand location of the last few years due to them putting an access road through the middle of it Maybe look at it this way it we will all be part of a new adventure finding it ( maybe class it as a navigational scatter LOL)but the stewards are normally the best there are and they will point us in the right direction sorry for the lack of info on this but if anything comes through will post it up

As posted earlier marco is unexpectedly working in the states until Wednesday and he has asked me to help out on a few things so we can get the tickets out asap The only thing that is holding this up is that the organisers have informed me that they have allocated a ten car slot in the their main display area separate from the 65 car z area from the that they want filled with 10Zs what i would like to do is fill it with all the different marques in the Z range Today I have confirmed the following cars to go in that display 240Z richie p 260Z Paul Wrangle 260Z2+2 Grolls 280ZX John Peek Z31 Zpuppy Z32SWB Andy Isherwood now comes the bit I need help on from the guys who have already booked thier places at Japfest I need a nice Z32 that is not going on the track And need Martinmacs help for a 350Z,350Zvert,and the 370Z and hey presto can complete the list for mailing as a there are 2 different passes to get on to each area

Last of the 105 discounted club tickets sold to Grolls all that is left is 2 morning track sessions we still have 11 stand passes to get you onto the z stand but you would have to pay on the gate let us know if you are doing this and we will endeavour to get a pass to you somehow unless you want to park in the general car park __________________

tickets arrived at marcos place unfortunatly he is in the states with work unexpectedly I working at the minute on addresses to double check with his data base so his wife can sort package and post out early next week all in hand

Nope no one gets a ticket as I am doing a runner to Brazil with the cash seriously everyones ticket will be posted out as soon as we have them normally in the past they don't send them to us untill about 10 days before the event then marco has work his balls off to get them out
