  1. Class structure rules as of the 2008 season Don't think they have changed Hope it helps Rules/Class structures........... Class 1 will be for S30 cars, i.e. all 240Z, 260Z, 260Z 2+2 and any import varieties that are deemed to fit this bracket. No distinction is being made regarding modified or un-modified and anything goes (multiple carbs. of any size, injection, bored and stroked, LSD) as long as the original series engine, normally aspirated, remains the core of the project. No turbo cars – these move into the new Class 3 – see below. No nitrous oxide injection and no slicks, however. Use of either or both of these two items automatically lifts you into the Super-Mod / Hybrid Class. Class 2 will be for S130 and Z31 normally aspirated models only. Any mods allowed apart from turbos as long as the original engine configuration remains the core concept. No NoS or slicks – see above. Class 3 will be for forced induction cars from the S30, S130 and Z31 model range – factory turbo, aftermarket turbo or supercharger, this is where you will compete. No NoS or slicks – see above. Class 4 will be for the growing band of Z32 NA models. In 2005 this generated its own mini-shoot outs, so could be a very competitive class. All mods allowed as long as no forced induction. No NoS or slicks – see above. Class 5 will be for the army of modified Z32 Twin Turbos – no holds barred; if you have 600bhp you race with the 350bhp guys! As above, however, no NoS and no slicks – let traction be the equaliser! Class 6 will be for the Z33, modified or forced induction. No NoS, no slicks as above. Class 7 is now for Super Modified cars - essentially it is a combination of Hybrid cars and extreme modded versions running the original engine (engine swaps, enough horsepower to need slicks, NoS if you like). Previous competitors with triple 48s etc. will be pleased to know they no longer have to race here as long as their engine configuration is as the manufacturer intended.

  3. Hi Martin is a mobile home or at the hotel If a mobile home how much was it
  4. The reason that John and Claire took over in the first place was when after spending 7 months of my life organising the 2003 JAE at Billing at the after event club rep meet I asked if anyone would step up to the plate and take on the 2004 event not a single person stepped forward Until around xmas time it looked as if JAE had run its course when John and Claire stepped in with an offer to use their events company to run the event What people don't realise now is since it moved away from Billing it costs a fortune to put on and to fund it I know that bank loans initially have been taken out to keep it going IMHO the event has grown into a monster and can not be run and organised by volunteers in their spare time and by god I should know after the 2003 event The nicest ting about last year was it seems that by moving away from the bleak unfriendly venue of the EAST of England show ground the event returned to the friendly one that it had always been since when the event was first started all those years ago Sorry for the somewhat boring responce but just trying to expain the situation as I see it For without John and Claire JAE would have ended after 2003
  5. 3 months down the line and it looks like we have a clash of dates as JAE2009 have moved thier date even further back into September The tradional date for JAE has always been the end of July and this is why we always had Zedfest in September,2008 saw the first move away from the July date at the last minute and although all the talk previously had been that JAE would be the same august week end next year they have decided to change it again The Z Club has no option but to carry on with the planed Sept dates as we have already booked the venue Sorry about this guys but on the other hand its good for you to have a choice of events in September
  6. Jae 2009 clash Just read today that Jae 2009 date is being moved yet again The reason we held Zedfest in September is so it wouldn't be too near the original late July date that JAE always traditionally was Bad news of date change of JAE 2008 saw JAE change the date at the last minute to the end of August a bit near to zedfest but managable The latest news on the JAE website has really effed it up now as we have managed to book the venue for ZedFEST a while ago on the basis that JAE had been promoted for 2009 so far as the same date in August This is the quote from the JAE website Oh well people will have to pick which one is for them
