THE BIG 50 IS COMING (sorry if in wrong section)The big 50 is getting nearer and nearer and before we know it will be too late to organize a big special day for everybody to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Z Car even though there is over 2 years to go 2019 also is the 30th anniversary of the Z32 and also the 10th year of the 370Z To mark this special year it would be a great excuse for all the various Z/ZX clubs to come together and join together in celebrating this occasion

I wonder if this is were the problem is with one barcode on the confirmation of original order and then for some reason there is a different barcode on the tickets

Its a joke mate, i seen an email and i thought ahh progress... It was the original Order confirmation... So maybe they are covering their backs by resending out all the order conformations that included a pass code on them just in case the e-tickets dose not get sorted

I have just spoken to them as well and had a strange sort of conversation with a women there who said that she would ring the club rep and let him have the clubs pass code to give to people who had not received email tickets so they could turn up at the gate with their a copy of the order that was sent to them when they paid originally And guess what I have just been sent by email No not 3 e-tickets but another copy of the original receipt of payment I know of at least 5 on the Z Club who have recieved diddly squat e-ticket wise from them Is there any chance that there is a pass code been sent out for use on the gate with our original order I am going to print of my order and have it ready to take with me if the e-tickets don't arrive as promised

After a third on Z Club site being emailed by japfest saying that his time was not available he emailed them back and was told they had made a mistake and he was on track I have just got off the phone to them and they also said they had double checked and now emailed people telling them that they now had track time Also asked again if it was correct that they were posting out the tickets and was told this time that the tickets were being emailed out to be printed at home When said that yesterday I was told they were being posted I was told this time that that was never an option and asked who told me that Seems if the left hand and the right hand has been disconnected from the main brain but hey hoy it will all come good in the end Hey Adam in a way this new fangled system that was introduced to ease the frustration of the clubs rep doing all the work seems to have a few hiccups

Well this is interesting....I appreciate you keeping us updated. I have not received my tickets via email yet but when I do I will double check them. To anyone who receives their tickets this week and they are not as ordered, please call Japfest directly to sort it out as I do not have access to your details this year. When I phoned them yesterday and was told tickets were being posted I then I asked were they not going to be emailed and we print them off and was told that was never an option But heyho maybe my brain is getting old and I was confusing Japfest with the Donnington Historic meet

Had a couple of guys post on the Z Club today that they have had an email from Japfest saying that they do not actually have the track sessions that they ordered even though it shows on the Japfest 2016 - Z Club.pdf 230.44K that they have got track time Dont have any more info at the minute so please don't shoot the messenger just maybe worth checking if you have track time I also had already phoned them this morning asking about tickets and they said they were behind but would be posted out this week

Tickets are per personIt changed from previous years It is all on the online booking form that you filled in when paying for your ticket/Pass

how can it win a trophy It is not a proper Z there is no rusty brown stuff on it

IMHO there is a great danger as prices of the S30 are now beginning to exceed well beyond 25K they begin to fall outside of the range of affordable cars for the club orientated owner to drive and enjoy as there is now the potential owner that wants to buy one put it in a garage for a few years and use it an investment for later years Good on you Darren for firstly saving another 240 and secondly for wanting to use it on the road Really do not know if I want to wait until the end of the month at the Lakez to see it in the flesh so if there is a chance of see it out and about this Sunday quite fancy a trip around the M25 to see it

Its a 240Z it has the reversing light incorporated in the rear light cluster The later 260Z and the 280Z ( not to be confused with the 280ZX) had separate reversing lights between the light cluster and the registration plate

Well it will be worse or better depends on which way you look at it as I know of a few others who are coming As the car awards have been changed to the Saturday and not first thing Sunday it just means the guy who is choosing will have more to pick from and will just have further to walk

Buy the car that you want to buy and enjoy it for as long as you can if you dont you will always regret it Had to sell my 280ZX Kaminari after years of owning because I had to have both knees replaced and it was finally to low for me to get in out of but hey did I enjoy having that car and still miss it now

remember guys take a few minutes out of your time at japfest and track down Adam and thank him for all his efforts in doing it all this year really is great to see some of the younger enthusiasts stepping up to the plate and taking these things on A big well done from me on behalf of everybody who goes A big thank you indeed
