I quite liked it at Billing in 1994 when me and a few others from the Z Club started the very first JAE at Billing. I Organised the last JAE in 2003 prior to handing the whole thing over to "The Organisation" in 2004 as it had grown far to big to do in the evenings and weekends JAE was moved to the East of England Show Ground as it had outgrown the space that was available at Billing Come along to Billing give it a go and get to know others in the Z World and who knows what the future holds maybe one day the Zs will take over Billing again

As Suzy cant seem to get her access sorted out on here and so cant post she has asked if I could post this invite up to join all the fellow Z owners at Japfest the same as the last two years no matter what club you be long to CAN'T SEEM TO GET THE FILE ATTATCHMENT TO WORK Japfest Booking form -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please find attached a booking form for Japfest 2006 Entrance To gain access to the Z Club stand (non members welcome as long as you drive a Z/ZX) you will need to buy your tickets through me so I can send you a vehicle pass. Cost £8 (instead of £14 on the Gate) Track Time There will be three 15 minute track slot which will be limited to Z/ZX cars only. We are allowed up to 20 cars at a time. Please book early to avoid disappiontment - many people failed to get on Track last year by not booking up early enough. The track time will be spread throughout the day so you can have a go at just the one or all three. Track time costs £21 per session This year I can accept payment by Paypal or cheque. For both methods please fill out a booking form and either return to me with a cheque or send to my e-mail address with details of electronic payment. For Paypal please use my e-mail address suzy.huntley@bristol.ac.uk BUT unfortunately I must pass on the Paypal charge so please add 50p if you are booking just entrance and £1 if you are booking track time to your transaction. All the time, for me it is one of the most important buttons on any forum A little bit of topic but could there be a "view new post" button as well at the top of any thread that you go after viewing the list of threads from the "view posts from last visit" link as it saves scrolling though all the earlier posts

whist as you all say it is a personal choice but for the life of me I can't understand all the need for hidding stuff away Most users use a user name so your real name is hidden Most users hide thier car number in photos so that is hidden now lets look at when you go to a meeting and there are say three blue 350 there and a first time member goes he will have no chance of knowing who is who and whose car is whose As club cars get a bit older they are remembered and known by thier reg number I know I don't own a 350 But hey I am proud to be Steve Burns (username as well) and I am proud of my car and its number plate PAD 500W I am also proud that photos of it, showing its plate, have been included in a book and national car magazines Its also nice when someone says oh I remember PAD when it was owned by Mr F or one of its later owners

OH DEAR OH DEAR OH DEAR yet another jumped up so called motoring journalist jumping on the band waggon slagging of the 280ZX surprising he didn't dig up the old "of porcine flabbiness" quote that was bandied about in the eighties Maybe he should check which model of the Z was the best selling model as the S130 (280ZX) sold some 414.628 models worldwide in the 6 years it was in production When you consider that the S30/S31 (240/260/280Z) only sold 531,601 models over the 10years that the 3 varients were sold and the Z31(first generation 300ZX) sold 342,895 models in 8 years and the much acclaimed Z32 (2nd generation 300ZX) only sold 149,596 in 9 years it would show that a hell of a lot of people liked the 280ZX no matter what uninformed so called experts say Sorry for rant and the lesson in Z car History but after all it is were the current Z33 evolved from
