  1. Not sure about service but think it's P1 and you will need an MOT.

    Help!!!!

I was quoted £60 per wheel from Chipsaway. Didn't matter on the damge. One wheel is very minor and one is quite bad but it was still £60 per wheel.
  3. Really don't want to sell but it has crossed my mind recently, how much do you think I would get in a private sale ? 31st March 2005 350Z Roadster (05 UK car) (base model, standard spec) Azure Blue VGC apart from normal stone chips on bonnet Full Nissan Service History 19,400 miles Taxed to end March 2008 Two new MPS tyres on rear, would fit fronts before selling Kerbed alloy at front but I would get that fixed before I sold it I'm desperately trying to get a job nearer home that would allow me to sell the 06 Clio that I currently use for work instead but despite applying for the job a month ago I have still heard nothing but that's normal and I'm not over hopeful anyway. All opinions welcome Last photo took 5 months ago.....
  4. I went there last summer for two nights. It was ok but nothing to get excited over, depends on what you are looking for really. Good food, good beer and a good rest. Should be ok then It wasn't bad, it was nice but there was nothing to make me go back. Will probably try somewhere else in Belgium next time.

  6. you get sheriff courts in scotand, probably your equivalent to a county court or something
  7. And the full CNN interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krtRxSpR5f0
  8. Watched all the interviews on you tube - brilliant
  9. I did that aswell. I went home early and crashed my car in the car park with all my friends watching It could have been worse as I had been in court 6 months earlier for careless driving and the sheriff told me that if I was up again I would get banned (somehow got away with 3pts and fine). This accident was once again careless driving but I managed to deflect attention from myself onto the driver of the van I hit as he had just been told on the phone by his boss that he wasn't insured to drive the van. It was my civic duty to inform the police officer of this fact
  10. How hard is it to get the cable from the 12 volt supply up and then inside the cubby ? Bought a Tomtom One Europe XL today and want to try and fit it in the cubby but it may be difficult as it's bigger than the normal Tomtom.
  11. Be happy with your £30 fine Years ago I was bored at College one day and couldn't be bothered staying for the afternoon so I went home at lunchtime - and smashed my car up on the way home (3rd party as well being a student)
  12. I would never drive without a seat belt. Been in two serious accidents when I was younger (both my fault) and would have been badly injured if not for wearing seat belt. Funnily enough the taxi driver I hit for the first one wasn't wearing a seat belt as they didn't need to and his car ended up in a woman's garden as he lost control - the gate he went through landed in her hallway
  13. Signed as well but they ask for your postcode so might not take much notice of someone who lives 250 miles away
  14. Neither was she but you never know what's around the corner Come to think about it, nearly 2 years ago I came home from work one night and told my neighbour I was going to put in plans to build an extension with extra room and garage - one week later I had my house up for sale and had moved in under 2 months
  15. Be careful of Norwich Union. My g/f moved house last October and they charged her something like £60. She said she would cancel and an admin fee to cancel was a similar amount so she had no choice other than to pay it. I wouldn't touch them for a second - add that to their Indian call centres.

We should be happy with our servicing prices.... My Clio is one year old this month and Evans Halshaw phoned me today reminding me my service was due. I told them I knew but had been busy. She asked me if I wanted to book it in. So I asked the price. She came back and said £183. I said - FOR A CLIO ?????? Oh yes, but that is a service based on the manufacturers recommendations - I told her I pay less to service my 350Z and told her to bugger off.
  17. This was also in Auto Express but again no pictures. Unless they do away with the spare wheel, I fail to see where they are going to find room for a boot if they need to store a metal roof. That was where the 206CC gained - boot was much bigger at 450L than a normal hatchback with the roof up.
  18. No idea about the wires but at least you are getting on better than when I got RAC Auto Windscreens to do mine last year. They dropped it in the depot and had to order another one

Max, Staying at the Denehouse Guest House again, same as February - Kendal Road, Bowness-on-Windermere LA23 3EW. Let me know what you arrange. Will be away in Inverness from Monday 9th July and back home on the Thursday sometime before going down to B.O.W. Friday morning - unlucky to say it's the 13th
  20. Obvious to say we were only looking and not buying
  21. Mines lasted 16k and were that worn that the dealer refused to test drive the car for the service as they were illegal Replaced them with MPS which are better. Need front ones now as the inner side is wearing very much uneven - anyone else had this probem ??? I feel it may have been to do when I had a minor accident in December 2005 when I ran into the back of someone and it has maybe knocked the tracking out ???

  23. If you had been a few hours earlier at Ikea Braehead you would have seen mine
