  1. 95%? That low? I was thinking it was a certainty.
  2. If you've not committed yet, Huets are superb - www.huets.com - they win national awards and have second-to-none customer service.

    Ings Kit

Please remember there's 2 Ings kits - the other one looks quite different.
  4. Can you remind us what the sticker looks like? Is it an inside one or an outside one? Colour, etc? I must be there now (not sure, will check after hitting SUBMIT!) Edit: I am.
  5. Meguiars all the way for me, takes ages, but worth it
  6. ... which will be lost on the Cayman by fitting the LSD. And a factory warranty from Nissan is worth *very* little, trust me. I fitted my supercharger when the car only had 3000 miles on it and the only warranty items I've needed have never been oily ones.
  7. Yes, but then you can argue that the Cayman S doesn't need to be new either - so I'm going on list price for everything, from new.
  8. Porsche Cayman S - £44K Limited Slip Diff & fitting (cruelly missing from Cayman S) - £1.5K TOTAL £45.5K --- 350Z - £26.5K Bilstein suspension - £1250 - http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/ ... category=1 AP-Racing Brakes - £3K Vortech Supercharger, supply and fitted, with additional safety anciliaries - £6K TOTAL £36,750 ... leaving you £8,750 in pocket. What have I missed out? I've even used list price.
  9. I guess it's down to definition of track-focussed. Your definition as a track regular is going to be a lot different to mine. The point I was trying to make is that the Z has design elements trageted specifically at the ability to drive the car on the limit, that cars in the same commercial bracket - the Chrysler Crossfire, Audi TT, and Mazda RX8, do not. It won't compete with a Lotus Exige or VX220, sure enough, but then those cars are almost like track cars that have been made begrudgingly road legal. I'd include a Caterham in that description!
  10. Then why have the 53/47 weight balance? Why do Palmersport use them for track days? I disagree, and having had the dynamics of the car explained to me, it's a revalation. Do the TG track in the zed and learn stuff about the car that will really change your opinion! It's not * a track car * but there's definitely a track focus to it and it's the reason why it matches track times of both more powerful and lighter cars.
  11. The traction issue from standing is fair but otherwise the rest is piffle The R32 has all its weight in the nose and is rubbish at the track. THe 350z is track focussed and allows you to shift the weight around perfectly for excellent exit speed. It really will **** on any golf if driven correctly.
  12. Yes - new ones are much improved. New Civic interior is great.
  13. Sorry matey - my fault - I'll stop going OT I got a decent David Blunkett joke on a text, and I'm sure he wouldn't have minded if he'd seen it.
  14. You think that is less offensive than making a joke about a blind guy? You think if someone who is obese for god-knows-what reason appreciates it all the time they compare him/her with a lazy always-eating-crap-stuf person? For me its the same stuff. Not to say you cant, as far as i am concerned one can make jokes about everything, but to get back to where all this started, its just hypocrite to laugh with some "disabilities" and think it is ok, but not with others. Fair enough, but how often is obesity not a self-inflicted disability? It's not a disability and many disabled people would be hugely offended if you said it was. And to answer your initial point, yes it is. Given the choice, would you rather be fat, or blind/deaf? Unless you are morbidly obese and have critical type 2 diabetes, it's a minor physical ailment at most. Unlike the genuine disability of blindness and/or deafness. They don't compare, sorry.
  15. Driving offences are not classified as criminal offences. What the man said. Unless you were done for speeding while driving to Mecca with a communist.
  16. Unless you already do, I think you should subsidise your DVD here too Stephen you Comical B*stard If you wanted to buy it at that rate but didn't, PM me and I'll do a special 'voucher' to get the DVD for just £5 - but only for members of this forum. I wouldn't like to think members of this club missed out so I'll hold this offer until the weekend. Hope that's fair
  17. As a fat boy, I do not think it is fair game. With that thought process, then everyone that is religious are fair game as that has been chosen, people who are poor because they have the potential to earn more, badly educated people because they did not pay attention at school, the list can go on and on. Quite often (and NOT in my case as I am just lazy and like eating,) many fat people use it to overcome symptoms of depression. So poking fun at them just makes the situation worse. I think we should hurl abuse at overly moderated forums and moderators on certain forum that have lost touch with reality. (Do you think I really have a personal agenda here,…not) PS Not saying Stephen's show is bad, I went recently and it was great and would recommend it again and again. I even purchased his DVD, full price not at the OC subsidised price by the way. Aaah, let's make sure people know where I'm coming from here. I'm not saying throw rocks at fat people in the street because they deserve it; and I said they 'often' chose to be like that (through lifestyle choices etc) and did not so 'always', accepting that there are medical reasons for obesity. And I'm not saying to be cruel to fat people - I'm talking about highlighting it, jokingly, in a comedy environment. It's like when Al Murray finds a big fat bloke in the front of his theatre, he goes, "alright big lad. You've been sat there for 10 minutes without moving, haven't you. I'll just go and get you a packet of crisps before you pass out." It's cheeky but not too offensive, in my book. This sort of activity with someone who is blind or deaf wouldn't be acceptable, hence my initial comment. Bit puzzled by this comment though: "With that thought process, then everyone that is religious are fair game as that has been chosen, people who are poor because they have the potential to earn more, badly educated people because they did not pay attention at school, the list can go on and on." Each of these are unique cases. Religious people very rarely *choose* their religion per se; they are brought up with a faith and belief that is institutionalised long before they are capable of that level of independent commitment. Hence not fair game. The majority of the world's poor people are stuck in a circle of poverty where they have no opportunity to break out of it, meaning they would not be fair game also. However, people who are badly educated because they chose not to listen - f*ck 'em. Fair game. If they wanted to be ignorant, they can suffer the consequences. If you want the list to 'go on and on', expect each entry to have unique circumstances! The subsidised cost is no longer available by the way, it was just for Christmas. It was open to all 350z owners. I didn't post the offer on here because I was having issues with some pretty shocking moderation at the time and I felt anything I posted while that was ongoing that was considered vaguely commercial was going to get me villified. Sorry about that - I was trying to stop unnecessary flaming!
  18. Often and indirectly, yes. Usually, no. Hence fat people are typically fair game in my book, and I've practically got a degree in who you can and can't pick on
  19. Wish I knew I'm lost. What was the image that was removed here for starters. It was an image which stated : Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics... Even if you win, you're still retarded. With some visuals Seeing the reaction of the mods over here, maybe try posting it in the thread on the OC forum to check the reactions? Is that picture *still* doing the rounds? It's up there with "How about a nice cup of STFU" and the picture of the bunny with a pancake on its head. I would have banned it just for being unoriginal
  20. Yup, book when they aren't filming and it'll be days, not weeks.
  21. As an ardent modder it pains me to say this, but that's an equally good move Of course, if you can afford both, I recommend that too!
