  1. Of course That's what I've got
  2. I can't see the picture but I read the filename
  3. Chavtastic Sarnie we are sick and tired to read these types of comments, and blah blah blah. Imagine how offended our members who are ex-impreza owners would be reading that! remember reading a similar post from you the other day mate In Italian we have a say that goes: "predica bene ma razzola male" Who's 'we'?
  4. I'd imagine it would be a nightmare - especially if going with the Split Second box
  5. Val I'm sure someone has suggested it already, but I use a USB->9 pin Serial DB9 adaptor for my mininote to attach to my split second unit, and it works fine EDIT: the Maplins one I use has a double end, both male and female, for the DB9, so it will work regardless of what the port is on the UTEC.
  6. Gotcha - thanks for that. My comments were related to the issue of a change in a *washer* changing the pressure - I couldn't see how that was possible if it was inline. It's the force of the pump that dictates pressure, not the width of the flow line... Captint - you're there matey, I can't see any problems with your list. You're ready to purchase and dream
  7. Interesting stuff... But that comment on the washer in the FMU is odd. A-level physics says that changing the aperture of any liquid flow does NOT change the pressure. You can ask a plumber!
  8. The best thing you can do is put the kit in as intended, only modifying the 'safety' aspects (oil, plugs, fuel lines). The Split Second box does the 'out of the box' job admirably well. I'd ignore the fuel stuff for now; it's a simple enough retrofit.
  9. Theoretically if holding a tent rod with 3 other people, you need to be the *least conductive* in order to survive a lightening strike... so make sure you've got a guy there with a nylon jacket and canvas shoes and you'll be fine
  10. Yes, I have the Autosport wiring harness. Abbey reported back that it was an excellent piece of kit and I'll really reap the benefits when I (ever) decide to take the kit off. Not cheap though (but comparatively cheap at the moment due to £>$) I went for the additional oil capacity on recommendation that it was an additional safety measure when runnign the kit. The current thinking in the US was that tapping off at the top was a safer exercise than at the bottom where the spacer is. I'll be honest and say I never fully understood the ramifications and just went with the perceived wisdom on this one.
  11. She had a couple of goes that would have worked if the *car fitted into that space* - but this is where the scientists say that female spatial awareness is so poor, they cannot make out the fact that the car won't fit. Cue incoming... The SECOND video on that page is much scarier. That's a driver who's so poor they can't work out how to reposition the car when reversing. It's abysmal!
  12. I have the JWT oil pan spacer but my tap-off is still from the main sump as there were various concerns in the US of the oil not flowing correctly, or something like that, so I went for the Vortech approved method. Agree with the realistic figures (395bhp, 4.9sec 0-60), but it will be noticable. Not sure I follow the low-down torque comment; I saw no difference when going Nismo to true dual. Seperately, I got Abbey to retune my SS box to give me as much mid-range grunt as possible, which in effect was only a moderate difference.
  13. I'm playing Milfield Theatre, with a superb bill, including Mock The Week's Andy Parsons: http://www.millfieldtheatre.co.uk/show.php?show_id=165 Should be pretty damn funny! Stephen
  14. JAE is *the* number 1 Jap car show of the year for car clubs - really, not to be missed at all!
  15. ... if you are on drugs. Look at the 3/4 view. How does the window wind down? How *could* the window wind down?
  16. Good. Order is restored to the universe
  17. Strictly speaking all turbochargers are superchargers though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercharger
  18. Andy, did you not find the people who put that film together utter w*nkers?
  19. Apologies if this has passed me by, but I can't find a date for this ... ?
