  1. Oh God - annoyingly, of all the dates in my menu, the Covent Garden one isn't in as they cancelled me by mistake Pick another date ... !
  2. Oops, haven't touched MySpace in ages... on facebook mainly now I have a few list of London gigs for my new show coming up soon - go to www.stephengrant.com and click on the little flyer for that!
  3. Yeah, but mainly I do clubs like UTC. Don't tend to do the Creek that much recently though as it's got far too heckly and aggressive, which is a shame
  4. Not really that famous unless you're a stand-up comedy fan! I tell jokes. S
  5. Your car wasn't so 'fast' around the top gear track Git! It was torrential rain and we had to stop the session 3 laps before the end because even HE couldn't see where the track turns were. Check yahoo video for the evidence
  6. Hello there my fellow zedders... Well, there's a reason I've been quiet of late - I've been very busy doing THIS - and after what seems a lifetime of editing and other assorted rubbish, my second DVD is finally out! This DVD - 'TAKEN FOR GRANTED' was filmed live at the Theatre Royal in Brighton in November 2007 and is over an hour and 20 minutes long, and contains loads of extras including lots of audience shots (I'm sure some of you will see yourself in it if you were there!) and vox pops as well. Also, there are 2 extras... STEPHEN GRANT & HIS CARS - A 15 minute biographical documentary made by Sunipa Pictures where Stephen shows off his bizarre addiction for Japanese Sports Cars in and around the Sussex Countryside (while narrowly avoiding running over a pensioner and almost getting trapped under the abandoned timber on Brighton Beach)... and WHAT'S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH STEPHEN GRANT - over 30 different comedians, radio and TV people from across the UK quite impressively putting the boot in on our Stephen with some fairly dubious and slanderous tales of debauchery and general rubbishness - starring... Jeff Green | Andy Parsons | John Moloney | Ed Petrie | Ben Hurley | Andy White | Jeff Innocent | Mike Gunn | Gordon Southern | Daliso Chapondo | Vivien Ackland-Snow | Mary Bourke | Martin Coyote | Roger Monkhouse | Rufus Hound | Kitty Flanagan | Ian Moore | Kevin McCarthy | Ian Stone | Steve Harris | Nic Ayling | Terry Alderton | Glenn Wool | Steve Gribbin | Karl Grewar | Dominic Woodward | Carl Donnelly | Simon Evans | George Egg | Gavin Webster | Gary Delaney | Howard Read | Jim Tavare | Paul Sinha | Lucy Porter | Shappi Khorsandi | Paul Chowdhry | Sean Percival | Stephen Carlin... and many more! 7. It's not a bad feature, if short. I'll try and get a scan up here. In the meanwhile, I've got news as to why I've been so quiet of late. Check my post in the Off Topic areas. Stephen

    100,000 miles

Great post! Sorry I got here so late... Petrol is approx 30% of your expenditure, ouch! However that's excellent value for 4 years, it really is.

    GT-R

Ditto. But I bet you they'll say the paint isn't as good.
  10. Yep - and he's done mine already - but I don't think he does interiors or engine bays
  11. Wow - that's helpful - cheers Mike. Would certainly like a referral though; someone people may have used, or at the least seen their work. Anyone?
  12. Hi there all My Z is getting a car shoot next Tuesday, and I urgently need to get it absolutely spankingly clean before then - including the engine bay, which can't be sprayed because of all the supercharger electrics being 'bare' (i.e. ECU would die if you took a hose to the bay in general) Anyone know a top-notch car valeter/cleaner who can do the intricate/oily bits as well, preferably in the Sussex area? Cheers! Stephen
  13. Oh and I have a Vortech SC as well - but I'm probably a bit too late to this thread
  14. can of worms mate - best left closed how long have you been gone steve ? i take it you are a comedian like sarnie have you got anything on youtube ? Sure have - just search for Stephen Grant on the 'tube and all shall be revealed.
  15. Isn't it??!!! Proof if you ever needed it that I've been away from it all!
  16. Do you mean the club plot, or just East of England showground in general? I think we got really unlucky with the weather (again), JAE is still number 1 in my book. Stephen
  17. Not got anything at the moment, though will have some dates in May for Edinburgh previews.
  18. Ta! Manchester in late March actually: March: 25th - XS Malarkey Manchester 26th - Cheltenham (venue tbc) 27th - Frog and Bucket Manchester 28th - Opus, Frog and Bucket (both Manchester) Slaughterhouse @ Baby Blue (Liverpool) 29th - Opus, Frog and Bucket (both Manchester) Slaughterhouse @ Baby Blue (Liverpool) 30th - Hilarity Bites, Darlington
  19. Hello again! Right, after a semi-enforced absence (personal stuff I'm afraid) I'm back amongst the 350Z massive. The supercharged beasty is still running well (even though it has a horrific ability to run down the battery in about 5 days of non-use) and is giving me as much Joy as ever. Oh and in two weeks I get a full feature on the car in Fast Car, which is nice (that for once they are actually featuring a *fast car*). So, now that I'm back amongst it, here's some q's... 1. Anyone remember who tf I am? 2. Where's Val? Come on, dish the dirt! 3. What happened to the site on the other side, if it's not too inflammatory to ask? Nissansport(z)? eh? We're all still 350z here aren't we? 4. People going to JAE or Japshow on 22nd June? 5. Anyone interested in a night out to see some comedy in the not-too-distant? There you go. See you all again soon Stephen

    JAE!

A 'major yearly events' subgroup!!! SHeesh. Well, that wasn't there before, sorry for missing it. Car is still with me, if dead as a doornail. Just two days to revive it ...

    JAE!

Hi gang Well, not been here for a few months (long story) but just went to the meetings section to see not a single mention of JAE in any thread title or description on the first page! You guys are going, yeah? Can I go on the pitch with you? Surprised to not find a JAE titled thread! And yes as ever I will be presenting the show and shine. Stephen
