  1. Both are OBDII compliant but in a different manner the later 350z eg European design has heated O2 sensors upstream whereas the original JDM had standard 14:1 sensors. I have a huge article i wrote on the subject if you are really bored I will post it.

  12. Now I am hurt by the intimation of that. No I was a Technical Course Writer for Nissan now I run a training department for a major financial company in the UK. Miles upon miles for meeting and discussion groups, so not really appropriate for a Zed so I use the LR and a Galaxy to munch the miles and spend most weekends playing with a pair of Triumph GT6s. Coupe from the sixties just in case.
  13. I was fortunate enough to be able to drive not only the import coupe that JC slated but one of the first and one of the latest european coupes in the UK and also the first roadster, dont ask its a long boring story, and the real feel i got was that whilst the coupe had a little more poise mainly down to the weight distribution and probably the ability to cut out the noise by closing the windows (couldnt figure out why they would want this feature tho...) the roadster still felt a little more rigid torsionally when being driven hard. I personally would have gone for the Roadster but in my line of work a Land Rover is more appropriate now. A very personal decision but the whole concept has beautiful sounds and handle like a dream (dont turn off the electrical assistance or it wont). Take a spirited spin in both and make your own decision. Happy spinning....
  14. Jacko The part as described si the felt pad fitted in the track to raise and lower the window, this indeed does have a part number its is in the door assembly section of the FAST system and not in the windows section. I cant access the part number while I am at work but sure can when I get home if you still need it. But tell the dealers to look in the door section and not the electrical windows section.
  15. this is the reply I had when I enquired about the vehicle Hi there, the 2005 Nissan 350Z is still available for the price of £6,700 GBP. The car is in excellent overall condition. I have just moved back to my home country Hungary because I got a very good job offer here. The Nissan is here with me as well, but I can arrange shipping. It is still UK registered. Because of my loacation I suggest that we close this deal using the security provided by eBay's Vehicle Purchase Protection Program on such transactions. Please email me back soon and let me know if you are interested. All the best! 16. The sensors are the valves and can be changed to any rims although the thickness of the actual material at the valve location maybe an issue and the sensors are not cheap.
  17. Be careful as the US version is not totally appropriate to the UK models. If anyone has any issues let me know.........or ask TheMinel
  18. Get down to Halfrauds they have a Brake Nut spanner set which will fit. They are ring spanners for hex only and are cut open sufficient to fit over the pipes. Gets all seized buggers off with ease. Any decent MD centre should have em tho. Good Luck Val. As for the pistons if you rotate them the will retract very much easier.
  19. Try talking to these Guys http://www.dspaceinc.com/ww/en/pub/home ... pidpro.cfm
  20. Another crackling informative posting by me.. Glad to help gents, just be aware that the settings may have changed from the original if using the standard tyre size and manufacturer to try and eliminate a little feathering and noise but these should be correct for aftermarket tyres.
  21. ok Here you go good luck.
  22. The XDA has several software versions and the latest has this speaker phone feature sorted. Try downloading the latest software for the XDA from your provider it has cured several similar faults with in-car kits.
  23. The part number is almost the same and the price is the same even for a 3 year old Almera. Security is the real cost here and the greatest loss if it is compromised
