  1. Sales M If you are fitting the full Nissan Sat Nav then the problem is actually the audio system settings and are basically the traffic news settings, if this is a standard bose then the ideal settings can be achived in the same manner as setting for Traffic bulletin settigns, however if the unit is an aftermarket then the host unit will need to be configured manually. I can check later today if there are specific other areas but as far as i kow that is the only conduit of volume when connected into the audio unit.
  2. Having had this link sent to me when it was first listed I couldnt stop rolling around on the floor, bad to laugh at someone elses misfortune but read it and you will see what I mean.
  3. Full of pop ups and possible trojans so beware !
  4. 06 SAT NAV is DVD based but the screen is in the cubby hole but has no cover thus I think leaving it on display may be too tempting for some of the scroats out there.
  5. Lomoto Not always the case the controller is also known to be faulty along with the mickey mouse type connectors. Check the connectors first and then if you have an oscilloscope I can give you the signals you can check.
  6. The last sentence is "Jinglish" and can only be guessed at anyway , from the later version of the manual.. Resetting After installing each component to the vehicle, follow the steps below. 1. With the door open, lift up and hold the power window switch until the door glass is fully closed. 2. Get inside the vehicle and close the door. You need to close the door so the door switch is fully depressed. 3. Press and hold the reset switch. While holding the reset switch, press down and hold the power window switch until the door glass is fully opened. 4. Relese the reset switch. Then, lift up and hold the power window switch until the door glass is fully closed. 5. Open the door to release the door switch. The door glass should partially move down. CAUTION: Do not use the window auto function. Do not release the switch before the window is fully stopped.
  7. If you have a CD of the manual you will find there is a reset sequence to set up the correct amount of drop when the door is opened. It relies on the encoder and door switch to activate so you may find one or both may be faulty. There has also been several window control module failures on UK models and the same desing is used on the later JDM models. First check the door switch and the wiring to the module as the connections often work loose and show some corrosion.
  8. Temperature related and exhaust type sound makes me think of the EGR system sticking open, but my books are at home and I am about 50 miles from them so I can check later and post more details. Meantime worth getting it to the dealers (stealers) to give it a once over as this will effect the emmisions and hence the running conditions of the engine, loss of power and performance.
  9. Try this calculator it covers all sizes http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
  10. Your manual is specific to a roadster as it needs to have the open and close instructions for the roof, also it contains the emergency procedure for closing the roof in the event of a failure. Check back with your dealer
  11. Just plain old knowledge is a wonderful tool just need to sort out the application of it a bit more
