its the kind of car you don't buy to drive, but as an investment, you stick it in a air sealed tent; tell all your mates you have one, and then sell it in 10 years for twice the price. its not your everyday petrol head car; its your rich mans investment car.

the more you build the cheaper it gets; the development costs for building a car are huge, and to recoup them is more expensive when you only build 50 cars compared to 500.

looks like standard pipe diameter, its only ever the tips that are bigger (like trumpets) on other cars. zed is a prime example. or was on my invidia exhaust. as for the design i like it. its not like the original was that good loooking, its like the apache helicopter of the car world, so ugly its actually good looking. and the advantage of the stratos is that they will only be about 50 of them, so exclusivity is the pricve to pay.

i like the idea of the 4wd, it was good in the mk5; will have to go and try one, will gain nothing through speculation. also toying with the new seat ibiza cupra alfa mito cloverleaf abarth 500

looks nice' a little out of place against all the smooth leather and plastic, but i do like it

i kind of prefer the more retro looks of the mk4 r32, and its a bit more grown up than the ep3, will have to go do some test driving.

won't touch ford with a barge pole, cant stand them; sorry to the ford lovers. the only ford i would ever own is a classic GT40. think i'm going to get a mk4 golf r32 in blue or black. benefits of fwd and 4wd and will still have a nice engine to play with.

the r32 mk4 is still the front runner at the moment, but the cheaper costs and better mpg of the ep3 is tempting.

just trying to be more open with my choices, and the ep3s can be picked up so cheap with low miles.

the talk of the hondas has got me thinking; i hadn't looked at the other hondas; and i'm actually quiet taken with the old shape ep3 type r civic and the DC5 integra. had the new shape civic a while back the i think fn2 but always fancied trying the ep3. any thoughts?

if you get a 330i 335i 330d 335d it will i like the m3's but the running costs are putting me off, where as the 330 seems to offer almost m3 spec but better costs. i'm hooled on the e46 styling
