  1. Oh my word. That's automotive pornography right there. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  2. Where did you source the mats from bud? What's the quality like? Nice and deep shag pile? 😂 Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  3. The 'bottom' of the cubby with the Bluetooth mount in is a false floor. It pulls out and the actual bottom is underneath it the same as in a non BT equipped car. Might help drop the cup holder down so you don't catch the bottle with your elbow? Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  4. Ooh why not, we used to hold an MR2 meet at the halfway house a few years ago. -Scott -Dunks -Steve -GnarlyDingo -Dal -flyn -Paul K -Slydog -Gradders - Chirag1988 -baileydom Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  5. Tablet install to replace the oem satnav. Nexus 7 which is rooted and running cyanogenmod13 with automagic to handle auto on and off plus a couple of other tweaks. Just need to make a blanking panel now to replace the standard button panel Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

  8. Very very different. The turbo MR2 with the 3sgte in it can indeed make some extremely high power figures, however mine isn't a turbo. It's had an engine conversion and has a 3l V6 in it. What's interesting though is the difference between that V6 and the HR in the zed. The MR2 seems to have more initial grunt low down despite giving up around 100bhp to the zed (it's about 215ish), I guess it does weigh around 400kg less than the zed as well. However once the HR gets into its stride it keeps pulling where the 1mzfe in the MR2 tails off. In terms of handling the MR2 is more direct and 'chuckable' but the zed is more stable at speed and in fast sweepers. Like I said, very very different despite, in this case, being both 2 seaters with big V6s in them. Love them both. The MR2 is still up for sale but I wont be sad if she stays (but shush don't tell the other half! Haha) Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  9. Haha yeah that's almost probably the case. We worked on a lot of MR2's but I think I remember the one. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  10. Cheers Kelvin. Long time no see Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, i do love that car. Most of its mods are under the surface. Polybushed, TRD antiroll bars, 40mm drop, braided hoses, rebuilt calipers, custom parts throughout, oh and the 3L V6 sitting in the engine bay! Haha Thanks for the welcomes guys. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  12. Thought I'd drop a post in here to say hello. I suspect it won't be the last time I post! Haha On Saturday I acquired my 08 350Z. It's absolutely 100% bone stock, right down to the headunit. Who was still playing cassette tapes in 2008 anyway?! It probably won't stay that way - my previous car (still on the drive actually) is below. Well I say probably... I've just ordered a stubby aerial, aluminium vent trims off here and already found that I need a new tailgate popper as one is missing. The 1 degree temps this morning also highlighted that new or regassed struts are needed to hold the boot up properly. Hmm, this staying stock malarkey isn't going well. 14. Evening all. I'm thinking about buying a 350z. Therefore I'm guessing I'm in the right place 😂. I've currently got a mk2 MR2 with a 3l V6 in it which I reshelled a couple of years ago and built from the ground up. I absolutely love the car and it's a great car with the v6 howling away behind my head. However, I am thinking about a change. I've always liked the look of the Zed but have never actually looked at one in the flesh closely or been out in one. Is there anyone in the Colchester/East Anglia area who would be happy to show me round their car and take me out for a spin in it? Cheers all. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
