Wana buy a piece of string ?

Most wipers are fitted on a conicle spline. Can you tighten it down ? or has the spline gone ? If the spline has worn away,a stop gap would be loctite (then a bugger to get off later) or some insulation tape round the spline and re-tighten the nut.

Ricey, Have they changed to this in Chester recently? When I did mine,I took the retention cert.,tax disc.MOT and V5. They re-printed the Tax Disc ,MOT with the new reg and gave a V?? to go and buy the plate. V5 sent in post from Swansea. I had already had the plate made using the retention cert. As Ricey said DO NOT FORGET TO TELL YOUR INSURANCE CO.

The link is just for the socket with a plastic sleave to protect your alloy wheels. The locking nut 'keys' are diffrent from car to car, you need to check all the cubby holes in the car for the key,or get a new one from the 'stealers'. I think it's 19mm,if stuck I can nip up to my garage,but it's , halfords also sell them for a similar price.
