  1. As above mate I've got K&N drop ins on my HR, I do like the bling effect of Induction kits but they can get rammy if not kept on top of and have possible heat soak etc, so up to you really!

    Maybe go half way and tart up your existing boxes?

    This was just an idea floating round but having had positive feedback thought i'd start an actual thread for this as it may well go ahead!

    So as we know wheel nuts are touch and go, some are great and last ages, others rust & corrode after a few months.

    Fourty Four Wheel Co. make some beautiful but quite pricey Forged Titanium nuts. Prices start from £250 for 16 and £300 for 20, but after speaking with them they agreed to come up with a little discount for the Zed community (and these guys rarely discount anything)!

    So, minimum of 10 sets & we get 30% off - the sets can be any combination, and any fitment.

    For example:

    5 x sets of polished

    3 x sets of spectrum

    2 x sets of gold

    Because of the different sets & number of bolts available what I will propose to Fourty Four is we give them a list of what we require & then all pay for each order individually but at the same time to ensure there are no issues.

    Shop / Price Info Here: http://www.fourtyfourwheelcompany.com/product-page/fourtyfour-gr5-v2-titanium-wheel-lugs

    PEOPLE IN SO FAR:

    @me x 20 Polished

    @valy x 20 Spectrum Burnt

    @taybo x 20 Spectrum TBC

    @AbiiPow x TBC

    @Payco x 16 Spectrum Burnt

    If you fancy some extra bling for your rim, pop your name, number of bolts & finish below & ill add you to the list.

    So back on topic, I presume the Muteki nuts are ok then?

    ill just order some more in black and sell on my blue ones I think. Unless there are alternatives (in similar price bracket)

    they are ok, but i doubt they would last till the end of the year before getting manky. Im part way through organising a group buy of those titanium ones with 30% off if you want to hold of a little longer?

  4. sorry got delayed with the rest if this post! Anyway he said if i can get 10 people onboard he will do them at 30% off and any combo (for example 5 sets of polished, 3 sets of gold and 2 sets of spectrum). Not half a bad discount i dont think!

    Jay.1r, cheers mate will be definitely looking at this. can you wash it like normal paint ((hand waxing etc)? Or will it bugger it up? Cheers for everyone for their help by the way, what a forum!!

    I think you can use normal snow foam / shampoo etc but I'm sure I've read there are "Matt" versions that are better on wraps. Also be care full with the powerhose / jetwash as I think if you get too close you can mark the vinyl, but I'm sure someone will let you know for definite who actually goes through this process.

  7. wrapping is basically a skin of high quality vinyl that is applied all over the car and sits as a skin giving you a new colour for alot less than a respray. it will usually last 3-5 years if looked after, and any damage to the skin can be replaced by having a single panel reskinned. If you get bored you just have it removed and the paint should be fine underneath it just needs a good clean afterwards, or just swap it for a new colour!

    ive not had it done myself but i know alot of people who have, @Jay.1r has his 350 in purple and his lady has her civic in a deep metallic green and both were done at APM Customs in Deeside.

    Might be worth looking into as an alternative.

  8. hmm....... might save a little longer and go for the fourty fours, or give that clear enamel coating a whirl, im sure the wife has some nail varnish somewhere!

  9. Hi Guys,

    New thread for this in the group buy section:

    ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................

    Allo.

    So I picked up a set of Muteki nuts from @Tarmac@TarmacSportz when I bought my new wheels from them last autumn, all fine but I can't help but get irritated at the orange rust/corrosion on the wheel nuts :rant: .

    Does anyone know of a brand that don't get so ruined? I clean the car regularly & spend a good amount of time on the wheels but seems it always comes back!

    These look awesome but are ££££££££££££££ :wacko:
