  1. F type doesnt have those 300zx lights, or front LEDs. Also the F type will be £14,000 more expensive the Performance trim at £50,000+ Remember there are also yellow Mustangs floating about, yellow TT etc But Yes its rarer. I just dont think it did the Zp any favours. Nissan are offering it as a colour option outside of the limited edition or maybe the shade might be different who knows
  2. I dont see blue Jaguars around. Ill take blue or white. 2023 I reckon depreciation would be primarily minor by then. A couple grand off used models due to demand. High taxes could see a couple come up on Nissan used car network. I got some practice in with Nissan JP. Sites a bit twitchy. Real issue is the duties and vat
  3. 135 is more modern and ive heard a lot of noise about tuning capabilities. They tend to be loose at the rear. The 370 offers more enthusiast drive for those not chasing luxury or numbers. Also get the feel good factor when out and about and wanting to go for a drive Depends what youre after.
  4. Check out this interview with the comms guy. They address criticisms
  5. LSD is currently only available on Performance trim. That could still change! Some complaints about that.
  6. If you dont like taking no as an answer dry your eyes mate 😂 All we can do is wait and keep up the grind lol
  7. 400 twin-turbocharged horsepowerAt the heart of the Z is a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbocharged 24-valve engine. An aluminum-alloy block and heads keep things light, while a water-cooled intercooler helps keep things cool. An optical speed sensor brings power with turbine speeds up to a dizzying 220,000 rpm.Mechanical Limited-slip DifferentialA new available mechanical limited-slip differential helps distribute power to the driven wheel with the best grip, helping you power out of corners.Launch ControlThe first on any Z – available launch control helps eliminate wheel spin and hop, by holding the engine at a pre-set rpm and modulates power as you pull away to give you the fastest, most consistent acceleration every time. 6-speed manual transmissionIn the 2023 Z, new first- and second-gear synchros are designed to help handle the powerful twin-turbo engine. Enhancing the connection, the shift mechanism has been redesigned to give a more direct, positive feeling.9-speed automatic transmissionThe one transmission that can tempt manual drivers. The Z features a new 9-speed automatic with shift-by-wire technology activated by a unique palm-shaped controller. For added thrills, you can employ the available steering wheel paddle shifters borrowed from the Nissan GT-R. /cdn-cgi/image/format=auto,onerror=redirect,width=1920,height=1920,fit=scale-down/https://www.newnissanz.com/attachments/1629321116793-png.2297/ Suspension and steeringTo make sure it handles like a Z, the new model features new mono tube shocks, new front geometry and rear suspension tuning. To help get the maximum out of the Z’s suspension, torsional rigidity was increased over 10%.Performance brakesTuned to give braking with excellent feel and stopping power, available Sport Brakes feature 14" front rotors with 4-piston calipers.All-New 2023 Z driver’s interiorIt holds you in ways you never dreamed ofA great dance partner knows how to hold you perfectly. 8. From what ive read its 10% import duty and 20% VAT. If you pay £28000 for a used one. Thats £2800 duty plus £5600 VAT and addition shipping costs. excluding IVA and MOT plus insurance. Youre looking at £38,000+ all in unless you wait and get it cheaper or go live in Japan for a year and own the car for 6 months to be exempt from VAT and import duty. similar rules apply with Ireland. You could wait for private dealer imports but im sure theyre paying similar figures. Meaning forecourt prices of £35-£45k anyway. An alternative is to get someone to buy it for you and gift it. Then HMRC will decide how much duties youll pay since its high value. Its more likely to be exempt from VAT if it was worth £3000 and under. If its £30,000 thats a different discussion. Basically be prepared to pay 30% fees importing from outside EU. Cars imported from within EU have greatly reduced duties if used.
  9. Lol aside from the 2-3 emails sent to Nissan UK from me and another forum member, I dont think people were chomping at the bit for it. Not like the Americans and Nissan USA. EU still tells UK what to do while Germany and co are failing to meet emission standards by still operating a 170 mph autobahn. Im sure theyll keep failing post 2030 while the UK plays trendsetter. Apparently some green party over there wants to limit petrol and car parts sales. Not sure how true that is. The ICE car importation ban may be moved forward. So the longer you leave it...... EU does all this while amazon gets cut and China burns enough to cause a fog most days
  10. Is the demand there for a convertible Z? Probably not. Better of focusing on the Nismo version. Which a lot of people are wondering about. It needs to have a straighter flatter line all the way to the back almost like a bmw 3 series e9x convertible
  11. Apparently its still on the table. The 370 had better flowing line from front to back for Convertible. This looks like an Alfa and the top of the bonnet to the door all the way to the back doesn't really flow
  12. I think its more 370 Nismo at the front for the GR86. I saw a pov review from TheTopher. The amount of chutter coming from the Engine, seems like its a media car thats been ragged
  13. tax and duty costs are a stumbling block for many....but doesn't bother me...still going to cost the same as a used German. A used base model should be little over 30k all costs included bar insurance and tax
  14. Yeah but at new Golf R Price used and shipped its import worthy. Just a few customs officers to bribe
  15. I do like that Blue though. I know im most likely would prefer white but this shape suits blue or grey more. Yellow might appeal to kids asking their parents for a Lego version. The pearl yellow doesn't do the car justice. The car is already going to be a rarity in UK. So no issues there.
  16. Lucky bugger. Might go teach English for a year once ive got enough lol...Save £8,000 More than 1 car you might be liable check...what if it was your Wife/GF car. 1 per person
  17. Extra Safety Features - Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian DetectionAutomatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection monitors your speed and distance between you and the car ahead, and can let you know if you need to slow down.It can also automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a frontal collision or lessen the severity of an impact. And when it detects a pedestrian in the crosswalk, it can stop you in your tracks.Intelligent Forward Collision WarningWhat’s up ahead? Intelligent Forward Collision Warning watches two cars ahead, and when it detects sudden deceleration in front of you, it gives you a warning to slow downBlind Spot WarningWait. Was that a car over there? Z with Blind Spot Warning helps keep an eye on the blind spot area and gives you a heads-up if it detects a vehicle hiding there.Rear Cross Traffic AlertFear no parking lot, or driveway. When you’re backing out of your space, Rear Cross Traffic Alert watches around the rear of your Z and can warn you about cars it detects creeping up on you from either side.Lane Departure WarningHold it right there. Lane Departure Warning helps make sure you change lanes only when you mean to.If the system detects that you’re drifting over, a gentle buzz on the steering wheel can let you know.High Beam AssistHigh Beam Assist can automatically deactivate the Z’s high beams if it detects an oncoming vehicle, a response appreciated by everyone. After the driver has passed, the system can reactivate the high beams.
  18. If you've lived there 12 months and owned it 6 months and can show proof. Youd only be liable for 10% duty. Tax exempt. Just need IVA and MOT. There are companies that could do the full DVLA /IVA process Road tax should be reasonable as under £40,000 retail.bUsed this site as reference https://mycarimport.co.uk/?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=PPC&utm_campaign=Locations UK&gclid=CjwKCAjwgviIBhBkEiwA10D2jwkdOPyfdS_yEK9UC4FgqhJTwjpcDv14SEwVxulym7Ci7Saz7nU_YRoCde0QAvD_BwE Lucky bugger! 😁
  19. A lot of people seem to hang it on the side. Can do a mini plate to go on the bottom near the lip or on the side
  20. Blue for me. I cant see it being cheap in Japan lol. If the Sport spec is £28,750 that is US market only. I reckon that would translate to £30,000+ JDM.... Theyll be forced to discount if they go too high. Always happens. Hope the JDM version removes that side light lol. Not needed outside US. Blue suits it very well. Ive started saving officially lol. I counted a tenner after smashing the piggy bank. Ill let you know if I ever reach the ballpark for a used one. Ill have to take a trip! Not going over £30k on what is essentially a tech packed 370Z. If used Performance spec becomes available at £26k from £34k new thats good going. Tbh its yen we should be concerned with although left hand drive is barely an option I want an Auto this time! Still bang for buck but Nissan USA have a thing with dealer markups. So some dealers will list a lot higher if demand is strong. Biggest complaint state side. Maybe youll get it cheaper than stateside as a result. Opened a spec thread.
  21. Gearbox 9AT with Launch Control (JATCO)(GTR Paddles) 6MT with Launch Control and (EXEDY) Carbon Fiber Prop Shaft Exhaust System Standard HKS?! (Sport Spec) Tuned Sport Muffler as heard in the promo (Performance Spec) Sorry to disappoint but I saw Active Sound Enhancement listed somewhere. This may be switchable like the Q60. Please make it switchable! It may or may not sound like this. The performance exhaust that is.
