Drove the E92 DCT coupe my mate had a Meisterschaft GTC on it. Driving through Dartford Tunnel to Essex wow. I had to cover my ears. It was like a 1000 trumpets at once. It was good because you could tinker with the shifts and how aggressive they were. There was a high spec range rover on the case. Let's just say it was nowhere to be seen once in Sport Mode and opened up. It wasnt the best torque wise but when my mate put his foot down once it picks up it no slouch. It's faster than Z. He did have issues with Rods and Actuator or something. Both expensive repairs. Had it 5 years sold it for 15k still with the Yiannimize wrap. His was mapped. Very loud. I estimated he spent in total 52k on mods, running it, insurance, service and the car itself. That's based on what he let me know

Crazy. But the threshold is usually over 25 when it gets cheaper. Mine at 24 was 1300 on a 1.6 Golf. So that's good going considering. City center higher number of collisions and thefts. Premiums have gone up a bit post Covid.

Yep.... These are the last days however.... the 4.0 GTS Cayman definitely one on the bucket list ha... 60k plus tho... Then again a full optioned 981 S 3.4 can be had in the 30s. Great cars and yeah the 2.5 is quicker no doubt and Porsche engineers tried their best but hey ho. I'll say the 3.8 gt4 or 4.0 GTS Cayman engines sound really good a level above the 3.4 in the Cayman. My brother had a 911 Carrera S with a 3.8. Wow. NA will be museum time pieces.

Nismo buying season. 2 nismos for under 19k. One with 6 owners. Even I'm tempted. Ones got Maxton lip spoiler, spacers and lowered on Eibachs. My mate is also selling a Nismo. Mk1 for around £17500 but has a deposit on it from a lady. If anyone's Interested in a Mk1 lemme know. Its got the ipad and full alcantara center console + ambient lighting and lovely residential friendly ISR single exit. There's a clip of the car on my YouTube Summers coming 😉

The dumping of fuel and over synthesised sounds like c63 seems overkill when you can have more natural sound. The 370 nismo standard exhaust is crap when you change it you notice it pops few times if hot. Seems more natural even though its tuned from factory engine wise not necessarily for sound. I agree that Z4 and supra do have fake sounds coming into the cabin as well. Better to stay old school or go older v8 pre OPF if sound is key. Personally now I'd take performance now over sound. There are some cars that already outperform the Z at the price range and sound better pre OPF 2017 with a 365 to 440hp range. If they saying 65k for nismo then you get the gist.

Is it really artificial? Supra and Z4 I've heard don't sound bad maybe theyre modded. Maybe I'm getting old but I didn't have short tails on for more than 3 weeks. I now get what Olly was getting at with loud exhausts. So you get the new Z for £50,000 door to door and no matter what exhaust goes on it sounds like a poor man's Q60? Seems like Nissan didn't think sound was important with Japanese noise regulations.

I would say noise regulations but Supra has no issue popping and banging. Just a shame the EU version is nerfed to 335 hp and needs a map to be equal to US version. They tried straight pipe on the Z and still sounds iffy.

USA keeping things going at SEMA. Their car scene makes UK look like shite lol... Ford announcement of a 800 hp supercharger with a warranty shows a different attitude. While folks on here are still debating looks of a Zed they categorically said wasn't going to be made 5 years later 🤣🤣

Good thing you're not the word on the streets. No ones ever said that and I've had 3 of them. Infact the Nismo gets a lot of compliments from general public young kids to old folks. Hard pressed to find a better looking car under 30k. Even up till today people still take pics of my mates Nismo mark 1. I dont think it would have made a difference which way the new Z went. Im 100% sure you wouldn't have anything positive to say. As you haven't since 2018 regarding this new Z car. Sorry not everything can look like your run of mill. Because if it did it would be a copy of...... 2008 that's cute....was the glass half empty then. I take it you didn't buy a 370 then...Lol

That ticket is closed after 24 hours citing lack of resources. Police report is for insurance purposes. Good to have a tracker. Car thefts are high in London. On some cars you can track and remotely shut down the car preventing theft. I think Tesla have that feature. Cars are sometimes dumped locally awaiting the next move either to the port or breakers. It's worth posting it in local pages.
