I'm lucky enough to park my Z in a garage pretty much 24/7 when at home, but it's my daily so it gets parked in lots of places; the amount of door dings and suspicious scratches I've had since owning it is really mounting.

hahah car bra is still cracking me up. I'll look into the respray and invisible mask. Gonna have to start saving the pennies.

No offence taking on the driving comment, we have powerful cars and it's very easy to drive close to others and put our foot down when it may not be necessary. That being said, I always allow a big gap in front because of the stone chip reason, and because I think it's respectful. 80 to 90 percent of the time when I'm behind someone in the overtaking lane they often move over, it's the X5's up my rear that I have a problem with ! I'll look into the "car bra" (what a name!). Thanks Hope you're having a nice Sunday. A respray and clear vinyl would be ideal, but it's a bit out of my price range . Holidays, tattoo addiction and beer is often nibbling away at my Z fund! What an awful thing to admit here .

Recently for work I've been asked to drive to and from Coventry once a week, and since my Z is my daily driver and since I've been doing this journeys I've noticed a lot more stone chips and general scratches. There's also a new one at the back that looks suspiciously like someone has walked by it and scratched it with a button or something, it's a very curved shape and consistently deep. Every time I clean my Z I find new dings or scratches . Time to start taking a train to Coventry methinks... But I love the drive, it's so much fun to drive the Z. What's the point in owning it if it just sits there? I'm not a fan of owning a car and then spending money on train tickets, just seems a bit silly to me. Is there anything I can do regarding the paint chips? They're mainly on the bonnet. My Z is black and they stand out quite a lot. What do you guys do to manage your paint? Any good tips for polish to get out the scratches?

Did you see a black one on the A127? I was driving my mate into Southend to pick up his XR2 at our mates garage near Priory Park.

Those of you who take knives to your Zs are lunatics, I get scared when someone gets near mine with jewellery!

I scuffed my front passenger side within a week of owning the car! It's my daily and I was still getting used to it. That's the only alloy that I've scraped though, the rest of my Rays are looking perfect. When I used to work at McLaren we had this Mercedes AMG GT S come in for us to have a look at and it's rear passenger wheel was absolutely destroyed! Whoever drove it couldn't park to save their life.

My dad went to live in the States for work and came back fat.

My mates one is pretty crap at the moment, but he's going to put some good money into restoring it. It's an XR2i, used to be owned by his Aunt from new and she gave it to him after he got his license back from a ban a couple of years ago. Everything is original, it will look great restored. I've tried to get him to join the Z club while his XR2 is going through restoration, but his insurance costs are through the roof.

Awesome . Went for a drive myself too, weather was perfect. Problem was it was so busy! My friend was picking up his XR2 from a garage after some repairs and we pretty much sat in traffic the whole way.

Elephant. I used Go Compare . Helped my neighbour buy a VW Golf at the weekend and his insurance is like 770, I'm only a year older and we have the same job. No idea why mines so much cheaper for a much more powerful car.

I had some smug looking woman in a Mercedes going really slowly so I went to overtake, she instantly puts her foot down and I could see her grinning as we were sitting side-by-side.

Nismo alloys? No rear 350Z or Fairlady badges? I left there around 12:00,I was parked opposite the entrance just off that tiny mini roundabout. I did snap a pic of the Z because I want to track down those alloys. Can blur the plate and post? One of the best I've seen.

Hi, Spotted a lovely 370z on Lower Road, heading towards the A12. Lovely colour! I was in the black 350z. Cheers!

Nothing at the moment, got the mobile app and am waiting for something to pop up, which I'm doubtful for. There's an option on the app to pay with paypal and drive off, but I'm not sure if that'll work considering the pay at pump feature at the station I use hasn't worked in over a year. Also, according to the app it is currently triple points. Even if it was just 1x points I'd still use Nitro+ because it's 99 RON.

Worker at McDonald's drive thru asked me to rev it, then asked if it had a turbo, then told me he got 120 out of a Clio... When I got to the next window to collect my foot the lads there were like "Rev it again!"

I always use Shell Nitro . The pump says it's triple points, but I read somewhere it was actually double?

I love how driver focused it is. I was never a confident driver until I test drove a Z, I fell in love . I love the comments it gets, it's definitely a head turner! People are always surprised when I tell them it's 10 years old, because my Z is immaculate and the design doesn't make it look old.

I love my black 350 . If I didn't find a perfect one I would have waited. I was lucky and found it quick!
