  1. Here’s some pics of my new ‘18 nismo in storm white! But got a few small problems. I can hear a rattle quite loud when the windows open. Sounds like a heat shield type rattle. Anything common that can rattle on these? As I pull off, there’s about half a second where the exhaust sounds a lot louder and deeper then goes back to normal. Then I need to call Nissan up and tell them my tacking is out, the steering wheels point left a little when straight. And is the biting point quite high on the nismos? Mines right at the top and don’t want the slave cylinder problem happening. Can this be altered?
  2. The Nissan salesman was a HPC salesman so only deals in 370Z and GTRs and assured me he checks them all coming in. But I’ll still have to check! Looks fine. I was going to drop it after some comments on here. But it’s 15mm lower than normal as standard and doesn’t look like it’s sitting high. I’ll see how a few weeks of ownership goes. I think the ONLY thing I’ll be doing is something to improve the sound. Probably resonated short tails. But I often get the bug and end up doing more. Ask TDI north with my 350 HR only went in because my clutch went. Came out with about £5k spent on it.
  3. Don’t know whether to get the invidia Gemini cat back system (loved it on my 350Z HR) or just go for resonated short tails. Not overly bothered about power. I’ve got a ‘18 nismo. And yes as pretty much everyone says it’s not loud enough. I’m not wanting big noise or any drone. Just to be able to hear that VQ properly when I open the throttle up.
  4. Has anyone done much in the way of making their 370Z lighter? I know I few things like dead weight in boot lid and apparently the back box is heavy so short tails help a lot. Anything else easily done to make the Z lighter worth doing?
  5. Was up for £28k. Managed to get it for £27k and managed to get £7k for my 350! So was very happy £20k for a nismo less than 12 months old was quite within my budget
  6. Cars now sold if mods could lock please
  7. Are you happy with them mate? Sound how you expected?
  8. 8k. More than I wanted. But I won’t put much miles on it. So will be a good low mileage example in a few years when I want a GTR
  9. Proud owner of an 18 plate nismo! Fell in love with it as soon as I drove it. It’s just a weekend toy so wanted a real drivers car. Very smooth acceleration and rigid chassis felt amazing. Will miss my modded 350Z GT HR (next to it), but this has definitely put a smile on my face
  10. Viewing a 2018 370Z nismo later. It’s nearly new so I’m guessing not much to look for. Does anyone have a link to a pic on the transit blocks? So I can check to see if removed? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Cheers PS my 350Z GT HR has just gone up for sale to help the sting of the purchase! Will bloody miss that car. By far the best car I’ve ever owned....including my impreza STI
  11. SOLD. Selling my 350Z GT HR to fund a 370 nismo purchase :) owned the car over 3 years and absolutely adore it. Hence the not so drastic move to a 370Z nismo. 55k miles MOT until Oct 19 Brand new Dunlop sport maxx all round (100 miles tops on them) Big service history, and since I’ve owned it, serviced more than needed including major service with new iridium spark plugs, oil filter, fuel filter, brake fluid steering fluid etc. Disks, pads and drive belt done around 4k miles ago. New clutch, master cylinder and flywheel done at 50k LED DRLs that change to indicators when indicators or hazards go on (see pics) Modded by TDI North to 332BHP at 50k miles: Invidia Gemini true dual exhaust system Injen double filter induction kit Cobra HFCs Competition clutch stage 2 clutch Competition clutch single mass flywheel Remapped 5 maps accessed from steering wheel controls. The car runs perfectly, I’ve had no problems other than the clutch in over 3 years of ownership, and with the work done recently, it should be a very trouble free car for the foreseeable future. Body work is in very good condition, including the rays wheels. Only thing I could say is there’s a little damage under the towing eye point from when I had it taken to TDI North to do the clutch work. £8,600 ONO
  12. Let us know what the outcome is bud. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. If some Zeds do it, and some don't, I can't see it as normal and shouldn't be something we should live with. Surely someone knows what this is and how to remedy it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Mine also does this. And sounds rough on low revs when in gear, but disappears as soon as clutch is depressed. Had new clutch, flywheel, master and slave cylinder. So a bit clueless as to what it could be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes mate. Open filters but sit inside the bumper grill in front of radiator, so get fresh air to them. It's a pricey kit but really well made with all sockets fitted for plug in sensors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. High throttle response Lower throttle response High throttle response with pops and bangs Valet mode Non start map Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That's good going Luke, ...I almost moved this to the 370Z section, that's how impressive the number was. Ha I would have taken it as a compliment bud 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. 350z but HR mate. It has an injen dual air intake too. Which they were really impressed with. Air filters right down in front of the radiator away from any nasty hot air 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. It went in originally with clutch issues but it snow balled a little. Ha. Some due to other problems, other due to me wanting performance parts while it was sat in a power tuning garage 😂 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Just got it back from TDI North. New competition clutch New competition clutch single mass lightened flywheel New master cylinder New slave cylinder New invidia Gemini true dual exhaust New cobra high flow cats New braided clutch line Live custom map (5 custom maps) Came back at 335bhp and drives so much smoother and more responsive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Would recommend the injen setup. Got it on my HR. But not cheap. But the quality is very impressive and filters sit behind the bumper so get nice cool air to them. They also come with all the sockets for the plug in sensors. You'd struggle to find the kit much under £500. Sounds great on open throttle though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Oem clutches are exedy. That may just be a standard clutch. I just got a stage 2 competition clutch and flywheel for a good price. And get really good reviews. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I went for HR and love it. If you can drive it well I'd say certainly the older DE and the HR are very different. You just need to use the last couple k of revs to get the most out of them, which in a 313ps RWD car can be tricky 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I'll have it please mate 👠pm me and I'll get payment sent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
