    Wow. Looking like 07 onwards may be worth the extra pennies. Plus it should be worth more to sell too.

    Definitely more profitable. But it would take time to find oem parts to put back on. And time stripping and fitting. I work for myself and very busy. So I'm definitely going for a quicker and easier approach. So somebody will get a bargain. But saves me taking time away from work which would lose me money anyway

    For the scooby lovers still for sale by the way! Yes if I can manage an 07 I will. It's pretty much determined by what I get for the scooby. The mods alone are worth more than what I will sell it for. But I knew that before I modded it. Wish me luck on my purchase

    It looks like the 06 model still has the DE in it. It's only the 07 onwards that get the HR engine in it.

    Sounds like interior isn't as big of a deal as I thought from the comments. At the risk of sounding dumb. What do DE and HR stand for? Is there a thread that notes all the differences? Don't want to be asking a question that's been answered a million times. And yes the tax jumps up to £505 per year on the HRs (ouch)

    Wigan. Northwest. Happy to. As soon as I get one! Got an Impreza STI at the minute with a lot of work done to it. Got bored of how raw and mental it is. Plus 350z's are much nicer looking.

    The interior is quite important to me. Good to hear engine is sound on both models. But I've heard a lot of complaints about the older interior. That was why Nissan updated it. What differences are there in the engine bay to make the slightly more power and less torque?

    Hi all. As said in title. I'm buying a zed really soon. Just wondering is it worth paying a bit extra to get an 06 model with nicer interior and more powerful engine? Thanks

    Hi guys. Just wanted to say hello. I will be buying my zed as soon as my impreza goes. Got a 370bhp impreza STI prodrive at the minute. But the race clutch, crazy loud exhaust, over the top looks and the fact everyone on the road hates you is getting too much! Looking to buy an 06 zed so I get the better interior and quicker engine with the GT pack. Good call?
