  1. Someone give Womble a medal! Cheers. Those figures look pretty accurate mate. As indicated were a little higher as expected. That's some long gears! Bringing me back to the original point that a HR has potential to be a really quick car IF you can keep it in the power band and aren't scared of high revs in a RWD car! 2. But I dared you... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Rich do first and third for us I dare ya Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ye I think it's like a percentage out. So the higher the speed, the more it's out. The main reason I was asking is because it makes the car very tough to get the most out of it. It pulls well in all gears at most speeds. But the HR especially needs to be up the Rev range to be competitive against similar spec'd cars. (I'm scared my friend in a CTR will spank me!) 😂 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What WILL it do? It did indicated. I did the run myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Indicated must be higher as expected. But that's the same in most cars. A true 99mph in 3rd is mental. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ye it seemed to be more like 1st gear 46 2nd gear 78 3rd gear 110 On a private road of course... There must be official figures. With the HR going mental at around 5,500 it makes using that power band really hard. You can be at 30mph and need to put it in 1st if you don't want to sit there waiting for it to take off. And like wise if you was at 55 you would be looking at 2nd! In a RWD drive car that's a little scary! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Probably just clear reflectors on front bumper. Leaving it standard for a while whilst I'm still enjoying it anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I don't think they're anywhere near as dark as they look in pics. Think is just the angle! Full black interior makes it look worse Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Any ideas why your car was running 20bhp down to official figures of the HR engine? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Ha. That's got a respirator on it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thought I'd see what my new HR can do on high revs as that's where the extra HP is. I'm sure I was getting over 70mph in 2nd gear! What does the HR limit at in each gear? (7500rpm) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks. Apart from reflectors in front bumper I don't think I will be doing much. Ive found where the HR comes into its own. Was wondering where the extra 40bhp was. But I found it after 5,500revs! Ha. From what I've heard is there much point doing any others mods with the HR engine breathing so well already? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ah well spotted! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Seesantas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Check out my HR bulge! Ha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Are the mods needed as much on the HR? It feels torquey through the whole rev range really. But a noticeable difference after 5k.
  18. Only drove it a couple of days. And even going from an Impreza STI prodrive 350bhp, it feels amazing. The sound, the balance, the driving position, the way it loves to be revved. The looks the build quality. It's in a different league in every way. Don't get me wrong, the scooby would leave it for dead! That thing used to melt my face off. But it was so angry and need to be grabbed by the scruff of the neck. I guess the big difference is, I needed to be in the mood for the scooby. Whereas I could get in the zed any time and it will always put a smile in my face
  19. Ah I'm always on my phone. I'll do it some time this weekend. I've just signed up to photo bucket.
  20. Got my new car yesterday and lots have asked me to post pics but it's giving me tiny allowances on what I can attach as a thumbnail. How do I post decent quality pics instead of teeny tiny low res ones?
  21. You don't need extra horse power where you spend most of you time normal driving. You want it when you're planting your foot and letting it scream up to 7,500rpm! So I'm sure it will be worth it
  22. Ye it does. When you read up on the money spent on the development of air flow on the HR (it has 2 air intakes for gods sake) it seems like Nissan know the best setup for that engine. Other than injectors, cams and even forced induction, I can't see and "minor mods being worth it. The HR I'm getting sound unbelievable as standard. And when I got it about 5k it was one of the nices engine notes if ever heard (and that coming from a boxer engined scooby owner!) so if I don't care to change the sound, and there's no real power increase, it seems a little pointless. I may just enjoy it standard. Throttle response it fantastic already too.
