  1. The red car and the blue car had a race....lol
  2. Red 54plate Leon cupra bud, saw your Z again the other day, mines tucked away now
  3. I looked at cover-zone too, and same really as the car will be garaged over winter I just wanted something to keep the dust off and try prevent any accidental damage as it's a bit of a squeeze in the garage. Same situation as you my garage is super tight and it's not my daily so once it's clean dry and stored it won't be out very much, my cover turned up this morning so I'll see how I get on with it
  4. did it swirl the paint that bad indoors? I totally agree with being outside as any movement from wind will just rub the paint. Ive just ordered one from here https://www.cover-zone.com/ My plan is to give the car a good wash then once the cars inside give it a quick wipe down with a spray detailer then apply the cover...as long as your careful not to get any grit or grime on the car or caught in the cover should be ok indoors
  5. Spotted while watching doctor strange (the film), was during one of the fight scenes
  6. I think before winter really catches hold would be good to do a day meet and go for a little blast somewhere (must include a duelcarridge way )
  7. haha i agree but i have a perfectly fun daily (leon cupra) so the Z only ever gets taken out for a blast on a sunny dry day when im off work as it is anyway......... I still plan to take it out on the odd crisp dry day during the winter i can assure you!!
  8. Can confirm this is true ! For anyone else these really are easy to fit the hardest part was remebering where my stanley knife was to cut away the little rubber bit.
  9. Some interesting articles on warm up and down procedures and why its not always a good idea in cold weather. http://www.roadandtr...rm-up-your-car/ http://www.popularme...t-harms-engine/ Very interesting, ive always allowed mine to warm up on cold days before driving maybe just drive the thing steadily for a few miles instead? I also always allow my car to sit and run for a few minutes once ive done a journey but thats more because ive always had turbo charged cars. Ive bit the bullet and decided to rent a garage to tuck the Z up for the winter now.... any tips for winter storage in a garage?
  10. I have one off my 2007 350z did around 18k very good nick as the car was garaged and since being removed has sat in my lounge (I dont have a garage or a wife) Based in norfolk but open to offers.
  11. Just taken this off mine for a nismo spoiler Azure blue, no damage and paint is spot on could fit this straight on tbh if you've got an azure. Don't really know what the genuine ones go for so £60? Collection only from Norfolk (near Norwich)
  12. Thanks for the replies guys Look forward to getting them on rather than decorating my living room 😂
  13. So the guide tarmac sent looks extremely easy to follow Question is does the car already have the holes and bolts for side steps/skirts if the car didn't come with a skirt as standard? Most fitting guides I've researched people already have the holes due to taking off original skirts, they just needed to drill the side steps to match. I'm away from the car at the minute so can't physically look but the day I get back I'm going to try and fit them. I see on other cars people self tap or glue them on but bolting is always better for a secure fit. Cheers in advance!
  14. Yes sargara Funny story I had totally forgotten to ask about spraying the handles, only remembered when I picked it up Will do in time
  15. To fit soon.. GT splitter Tarmac side steps

    Boot lid stuts

Yeah ordered the SGS ones awaiting delivery, yeah mine you had to forceably push up to get the thing open, only just held in place under its own weight i think the nismo spoiler would of tipped them over.
  18. Yeah need to pick a date soon, winter is coming........and you know nothing jon snow.

    Boot lid stuts

Superb thanks for that shezza !
  20. As above really on a new car get the best protection before any correction is needed. autoglym stuff is so bulked out (hence why you get all the white chalky residue left behind) the aqua wax is good though if you just doing a quick wash as you apply as you dry the car off. I use all sorts some meguires is ok, auto finnese stuff is good just pricey, auto perfection ive seen a mate using on his RX7 seems cheaper and just as good.

    Boot lid stuts

My boot lid/tailgate struggles to open fully under its own weight, im currently having a v1 nismo spoiler fitted which will only add to the weight. Anyone had any experience of what struts to got for? Im guessing the actual nismo 350zs must have better struts ? Cheers in advance
  22. I have the same predicament, having done tonnes of research on the pro's and cons, I haven't got a cover. Some people get on fine, but like Ekona says - unless you wash it every time, you risk the grime scratching the paintwork. Same, so many pros and cons with using covers, i dont mind the washing part as i wash the car alot already and during the winter it wont go out very often.
  23. Anyone use a car cover for outside during the colder months? I have no garage and with the Z not being my daily and will be driven much less dont know "weather" (haha get it) to invest in a decent car cover or just give her a top up with sealent and wax? I think someone told me these were good once before ? https://www.cover-zone.com/?gclid=CPvT0u#nogo
  24. Pricey but the autofinesse guys do nice kits
  25. Only just noticed i never replied.....bit late sorry Im just outside of beccles, ive seen you driving about abit i think but i always seem to be in my daily when i do lol
