Hi Andy yes working towards getting the 350z on the road as soon as possible without cutting any corners. It will need a little bit of running in to get all the bugs ironed out

So the conclusion is that the exhaust is too low needs alterations to bring it up off the ground power steering fluid needs bleeding and other small bits

I'm on a roll at the moment so wanted to check the car outside the garage to get a better idea of what is okay and what is going to need to alter before I get it to the m.o.t. center and back on the road. So had to finish off loads of bits and pieces plus tidy up the garage, before we got it out the noise when I am turning the steering wheel is the power steering pump needs bleeding

Just been going through all the wiring reset the ecu and at the moment no problems and no lights on the dashboard and gave it a dame good thrashing

Hi everyone just getting a much welcome break after Christmas, and getting back to working on the 350z, we're I'm happiest. Just before I stopped on the billd before Christmas, I Had a problem with the oil pressure not registering on any instruments, So while I was working i tryed to figure out what it was, anyway it came down to either the oil pressure sensor or the oil relocation kit, so instead of doing one and then the other because we all know whatever we do first it's always the other part that requires replacing so I just done both, and I'm pleased to say that it has solved this problem . There's a couple more things but nothing serious

Well it's been a long time since I've posted on the form I have been very busy at work . The car has had very little work Done on it Since last time. I will be finishing off the Transplant In January. I have been busy buying some parts to start the process for making the car look different later on i will tackle the breaks and suspension

For everyone going a summary of what is going on

Hi everyone small update have managed to finish off the MAF sensor and the intake air temperature sensor which has been installed into the aluminium intake Also I have installed a cold air intake for the 350z this can be used for any 350z there's a video on the next page showing how!

I'm trying my hardest to get the car finished off and show her off with Martin in his Datsun sss coupe, which is by the way lovely

Running a little bit better

Bit more progress coming together now and the engine bay is looking tight. I have changed the stock fans to Mishimoto it also helps with extra cooling and clearance, for the air intake i probably will change the size of the intake and colour of the pipes? Not sure yet I'm just concentrating on getting this up and running still waiting for a few parts but not many Did have a play with the running and seems to be working nicely

I will put on the forum the rest of the build obviously, but I will also let everyone know how reliable it has been and any problems I come across also driving pleasure per gallon ,also give a reasonable pricing and different ways of taking on a project like this!!

Thank you very much for your kind response, much appreciated. My idea has always been to bring both worlds together and use the GM, Ls series engine are very undestmated in this country and the cd09 gearbox together with 350z chassis hopefully will make enjoyable fun combinations. More importantly reliable in the long term .

I hope that I will try to get between 20 and 30 if I'm wearing me halo and a lot of the mileis down hill
