  1. I'll be getting this done in the new year, anyone any recommendations for the Glasgow area?

I've already got Trim Workshops number, was just wondering if there's any more?

Also has anyone any experience of Trim Workshops?

    Thanks.

    Robert.

  2. My JDM car is an automatic, the switch does say "Snow" - it's for the auto gearbox

It causes the car to set off in second gear rather than first gear, and slows the throttle response to aid traction in winter.

It has three positions: Snow - Normal - Power.

I haven't tried "Power" in case it blows the roof off and ejects the passenger in an attempt to reduce weight and aid acceleration! :)

The power button revs it higher before changing gear (holding it longer).

  3. Not in my 04 DE. They're two small plastic switches underneath where graheme's elbow pad is.

Yes that's correct. I've 2 blank buttons under the pad, which don't have switches as my car has cloth seats, so I did not mind covering them up.

It's cloth seats in mines as well, but i have the buttons.

Wonder why, they don't seem to work anyway.

  4. Don't think I've ever seen any for the standard wheels, you might be better off buying a set for Rays and if they don't fit then drill out the logos on your current set and the Z set and swap them over, gluing them back on.

Finally got round to fitting them, hope they last and don't get knicked lol

  5. I put £67 in on Thursday to fill it (well 59 litres) £1.13 a litre up here for BP Ultimate 97.

It's an import so must have a smaller tank than normal.

Had about 40m dte when i filled her, so still a couple of gallons there.

    70 litre tank you think?

  6. Chatting with Midge last night, he mentioned that this is the only full length band gig he will have done in the UK for a lot of years.

The big question is.... Does he have a Zed?

p.s might make it over for this, anything planned in the West? Glasgow area?

Ya'll know the cost of fuel these days lol

Will get a meet organised over by your woods soon mate, just coincidence that the two meets on the go are on the east coast side. Probably a good run out around the trossachs would be good.

    Sounds great!

  7. Loads of great replies here, you're right anyway, it was pretty vague.

(I knew what i meant) lol

It's looking like I'm roughly the same as everyone else, my trip is in litres and kilometres so that seems about right.

It,'s mainly urban driving i do daily, just seemed high.

    Another question...

Why is there 2 trips on the speedo?

    A and B

    What's that for?

  8. Mines is (in my opinion) way too much.

Put £50 in last Thursday and only done 140 miles, the light's on and flashing countdown already.

Am i being tight or is this about normal, it just seems to be drinking the stuff.

I'm worried it's not running properly and this is what's causing it.

    Any advice appreciated.

    p.s it's BP ultimate (97 Ron) I'm using.
