  1. Hi,

I'm possibly looking at getting a 350z, a manual version.

Seen a few GT models around 70k some import models though anything to look at for on them?

How would you check mileage is genuine and so on?

Is it common for imported models to have a old plate on than it genuinely is?

Do import models tend to fetch a lower value on future sales ?

Any help would be great :D

    Thanks

Look in here mate and Welcome to the Forum.

    p.s there's a JDM (import) thread somewhere...

  2. Great idea.

    Good luck.

I'm in the exact same situation.

My car is always in bits  there isn't much I haven't had a play about with, if you are ever stuck I am just down the road, once I finally get someone to build my double garage you are welcome to pop in and mod your car with someone who has probably done it before.

Mate, that's a great offer, if you're seriously looking for someone to do the garage, I've got 2 mates (SE Brickies) who could do it no problem.

They're always doing extensions, conservatories and the like.

Ah'd love to pop round sometime.

    Where are ye anyway?

  3. My heated mirrors weren't working so i thought i'd test the heating coil at the back of the glass.

Popped the glass out and it cracked (as it does) lol.

Anyhow, long story short is that i don't have heated mirrors (pesky JDM's).

Now i need to replace the glass without smashing it.

Has anyone on here done this before and if so what's the best way to do it?

    Thanks.

    Robert.

  4. You'll have to remove the rear wheels and adjust the handbrake through the hole after removing the dustcap

Thanks, I'll stick it on axle stands and do it that way, having trouble getting it onto a ramp.

  5. Looks like I'll have to do this as well, I've tightened the nut under the handbrake till there's only a couple of clicks on the handbrake but the wheels still won't lock.

The next step will be what you've done.

    Is it easy?

Read the PDF about it but it's still a bit confusing.

    Thanks for any tips...

    Robert.

  6. Got the front ones off and matched them up in a catalogue.

    Probably the easiest way.

It is the Pads from the Nissan 200sx.

The part No. is LP812 for anyone that's needing in the future (front)

    Not done the rears yet.

PM'd yer man there about that.

    Cheers.

    Robert.
