£7k for a 109k roadster with a shafted roof from a sh!t dealer.... it's a no brainer to me.
I paid less than that for less than half that mileage. Be patient, get something better, don't rush into buying you'll just end up kicking yourself
Same here.

Love the photos mate, Z's looking great man!

Just won this on a facebook page, paid for my new roof yesterday as well, opted for black mohair.
Hopefully i'll cram it all in on the same week, car'll look minted.
I'm going to ask the guy about that new ceramic coating thing, might just pay a bit extra and get that done while I'm there.
Anyone on here had the ceramic stuff done before?
What's it all about?
Looks good in the video.
The wash, detail and polish is usually £95.
Happy days man!

Yay!
Maybe I'll get to use my snow button (for real this time).
Bring it on man....

Wish there were cool ones for Autos.

I had mine done in Swansea for £360 supplied and fitted IIRC by Jack Smith.
Several people on here have used him and been very happy, but I think he cocked mine up big time.
After watching him do it, Id order one and DIY. It took him about 4 hours and I recon having watched, I could now do it in about 6.
What happened?
-
I think I'll give it a try.
It's 97 Ron, so shouldn't make much of a difference.
-
What does it say on your fuel flap when you open it? Should have a label with the type of petrol you should use on that vehicle.
The general consensus in here is to use 98/99 RON only.
Been using 97 for four months and never had a problem, was just curious about the Esso gear.
There's nowhere near me sells 98 or 99.
-
I'm running BP Ultimate 97 at the moment, but there's an Esso station opened nearby and i was wondering about the difference between this Synergy+ v BP Ultimate.
The only thing i know is the Synergy is 97 Ron, same as BP.
Anyone switched and was there any difference?
Thanks in advance, i know this'll have been asked many times.
Cheers.
Robert.

Thanks lads, we're in the same ballpark pricewise.
It's black mohair I'm getting too.

ok all, so the time has come to look at replacing my Roadster, so I am after some help please, I am in Suffolk, so I am trying to find someone in East Anglia that can supply and fix.
So any of you out there know of someone who can do this for a reasonable price?
As always your help is much appreciated .
Getting mines done in February.
£840 plus the price of the new tensioner cables.
Not too bad at all.
I'm getting mine done in Glasgow.
There's a thread on here somewhere about a couple of guys down south that do it.

You need to get an accurate oil level measure. Drop the oil then measure it that way, at least you know 100% what was in there.
Good advice, that's the first thing i'd do.

About to carry out the same procedure on my roadster - in case you have difficulty I got replacement cables here;

Came from America in less than two weeks. Both original cables had snapped and things were getting a little draughty. I'm sure there is a parts catalogue on the site as well.

Thanks for that, Bookmarked.

Can anyone oblige me with the part numbers or a schematic for the above?
Can't seem to find a part number.
Thanks.

I've posted this in the technical forum but thought I'd try on here too.
Do any of the traders on here sell this?
Looks like i need them for my new roof.
My originals are bust and the roof guy says he's not sure if he can make them up and i might need to go to Nissan (dread the thought).
Roof's not getting done till mid February so it gives me time to source any parts.
Thanks.
Robert.

They fitted great on my 17" stock JDM's.

What's the Z shed?
Honestly don't have a clue.
Ah'm liking the sound of it right away but.
lol

Mines is a 2006, registered in the UK in 2011 (i think) and i pay the "smaller" road tax.
Hope that helps.

Love my JDM

Another question...
When they change the roof over do they change the door rubbers as well?
Mines has some drips from there after a heavy downpour.
Thanks.
Robert.

Slightly off topic but my drivers door mirror is more magnified than the passenger one, would this affect the MOT in any way?
