It won't fail an MOT as its not part of the suspension - it just firms up the chassis.

Thats what the tech who did my service told me before I had it replaced.

He also said it was so rusty he could put his finger through it.

 

I didn't take it off for the MOT and everything was OK

Mines was the exact same and passed no problems (about 3 weeks ago).

It's nothing to worry about.

Mines has just started doing the same thing.

It's fine when the choke is on but when I start it warm I have to catch the revs before it dies.

My EML is on and it gave me a 0134 code which is the Oxygen sensor.

I'm waiting on the new one coming.

It could well be that.

It's also got a limiter fitted as well (apparently all JDMs do)

Really heavy on gas.
