Do any of the traders on here sell these?
The part numbers are 97170 (RH)
97171 (LH)
97172 (RH)
97173 (LH)
And 2x 97176.
Does anyone have any experience of fitting these?
I don't have a clue.

We should have a sticky thread with a list of known good mechanics and dealers.
That knowledge is worth it's weight in gold
Great idea.

Kinda glad this never happened, I've just clocked it!
Would have been well up for this.
-
Well??
-
'twas me! Clocked you at the last second, but I did return the wave!
It's days like yesterday where I really wish I had the roadster, you should've had the roof down enjoying it - that could've been our 1 day of summer!!
I would have but the roof is brand new, the guy advised to keep it up for a while to let it stretch and shrink.
It's sorted now, hopefully have another nice day sometime soon.
Are you in Dumbarton?
There's a black one up the road from me, I've never clocked the reg on it,I usually see it when i'm working.

Spotted today, gave you a wave.
I was in the Roadster.
Meep Meep!!

Welcome to the forum.
Another Roadster here as well.
Happy motoring.

There is a blue one on eBay currently, 56 plate and exactly what you're after
I think I know the one you are on about, and I am going to view it this weekend.
Hope you get what you're looking for.

Fuel

Will probably just use either when I'm passing but must admit I will probably sway toward BP Ultimate, thanks for advice everyone.
I use BP Ultimate and my car runs perfectly with it.
Tried the Esso equivalent and found my mileage was lower per tank by between 20-30 miles (mostly urban)
I've stuck with BP ever since.

Looks smart. I want to replace my roof for a burgundy/maroon one.
What colour's your car?
GM?

One from today with my new roof..

Took this one today, got my new roof yesterday....

Cool
All I can say is mine looks bloody fantastic. You won't regret it and it's well worth whatever you're paying.
Are they providing the hood or did you source it yourself?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They sourced the hood, it's all part of the deal.
Hopefully they do a good job, I've heard on here they are good.

What a Bummer mate.
Good luck with the new wheels.

Ran the Z on two full tanks of Esso synergy and found the idle to run higher (it would shoot up to 1500RPM) and then drop again quickly.
It was slightly erratic (only on idle).
There was no visible improvement so I've decided to stick to BP Ultimate.
Idle's back to normal now.

53 plate in the East End.

Well, it would make some kind of sense if you said with who you won and on what Facebook page, cos I for one ain't got a clue what you are on about.
What's a black mohair roof? Are they sticking wool to the roof?
A 20 stage wash and one stage machine polish? For £95?
I'd be more impressed if it was a 5 stage wash with a 15 stage detail after.
I think maybe he means a new mohair roof lining?
He does.
Maybe if he'd have read the post he'd have understood.
Just won this on a facebook page, paid for my new roof yesterday as well, opted for black mohair.
Hopefully i'll cram it all in on the same week, car'll look minted.
I'm going to ask the guy about that new ceramic coating thing, might just pay a bit extra and get that done while I'm there.
Anyone on here had the ceramic stuff done before?
What's it all about?
Looks good in the video.
The wash, detail and polish is usually £95.
Happy days man!
Jeez man.

Must be my deodorant.
lol
Might get more responses when you have pics
No point till the roof is done.
Spoke to the guy and he said i can claim my prize anytime i want.
Not once before I posted were the words "roof" and "lining" associated, "lining" wasn't even used.
The thread title suggests a prize to do with auto detailing has been won, so silly me for asking what FB page it was off.
But I'll make sure I will read everything in triplicate before posting a reply.
I hope you enjoy your prize and the results are more than you expect.
Thanks mate, I put this in the first sentence, so i thought it was pretty cleat what i meant...

It must be my posting style, I'm not very good at this interweb malarky.

Slight vibration on acceleration

I had a noise coming from the rear too, put the car over a pit today and found the problem, it was a heat shield on the underside of the boot had rusted slightly and was loose.
It was vibrating on start up/ revs and banging off the exhaust when you hit a slight bump.
Some oversize washers soon fixed the problem.
