  1. Do it ! You have seen the quality of the parts I've sold first hand ... These are no different This is how they look How's the ride compared to stock? Don't really want to be crashing about all over the place, the Zed is my daily.
  2. Oo tempting, was thinking about a drop just the other day. Still not got around to fitting the Milltek I bought off you yet tho. Not sure the missus would appreciate yet more car parts stacked up in the dining room.
  3. I've just replaced mine, looked original. Car was registered Nov 2014, so if it was the OEM one then it managed just over 11 years. It was drained by me being an idiot and leaving my interior light on for several days after playing about setting up my headunit. So I suspect that I could have charged it up, but I wasn't going to take the risk of getting stranded over winter.
  4. These guys are worth a look: https://www.facebook.com/southcoastworkshop They don't specialise in zeds, or even Nissans but decent prices and they do like their jap motors. Or a bit further afield are TGM (http://www.tgmsport.co.uk/) who are Honda specialists, but properly know their way around a motor.
  5. The Japanese version of shutter! Best/Scariest horror I've seen, And I've seen a lot. Just have accept subtitles. Great taste. Tho I'm sure Shutter was a Thai movie. Worth checking Dark Water and the Tetsuo series if you've not seen them.
  6. Yeah, the red legacy estate. You were the only person leaving anything resembling a gap so I went for it. Still not used to the slightly sluggish pickup for the box, The zed is off regular commuting duty until get I the milltek I picked up the other day fitted, far too loud to put up with when I'm crawling along the motorway as it is at the moment. Agreed on the traffic, it's what steered my choice of barge towards one with a slushbox.
  7. Passed you on inside initially then may have cut you up a bit pulling out in the barge. I see you're still sporting an ultra lightweight rear bumper. Not sure about the massive pringle tube hanging off the back, but it sounded pretty sweet under the bridges.
  8. I've just picked up a £900 Legacy Outback mk2, sort of for winter, mostly just so I can do some maintenance without having to rush to get it all back together by Monday morning. She's not a looker, but very comfortable and has useful winter features like approx 20cm ground clearance and what appears to be a button for a heated front screen. I forgot how refreshing it is to not care about what happens to your car. Quite happy sticking it in a tight space in the office or supermarket, no worries that someone is going to smash it getting in/out. edit: forgot the all important pic:
  9. Was just nosing around ebay and saw this, pretty near what your mate is looking to spend, it's gunmetal tho http://r.ebay.com/1SnuLU
  10. Ah, excellent, nice and local. Will PM you later.
  11. On the hunt for second hand at the mo. May give you a shout if I can't find anything. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  12. As per title. Ideally after just the Y-back as I bought a Milltek Y pipe a while back and never fitted it. Would happily take the whole lot tho. Down south would be ideal.
  13. I'm after a Milltek, would happily swap my Magnaflow (not a trendy brand I know) possibly with some cash your way. Is far too loud for me, especially cold starts in narrow terraced streets. Sounds good at full chat though.
  14. Thanks everyone. They do suit it so well that it almost seems like they look better on a 50 than 70. I was thinking about keeping them for winter/track/putting back when I sell up, but the GF probably wouldn't appreciate me filling the house with more car bits. Shall let you know in a couple of weeks what the score is.
  15. We've all seen this setup before and it's still got the wrong profile front tyres on, but I thought these shots came out pretty well considering how filthy it was.
  16. I'm interested. Am halfway to yours this weekend as well. Can you add some photos of the worst of the scrapes / damage?
  17. Cheers guys. Shall take a look. Used to take my integra up to TGM. Great guys, just a mission to get to without taking a day off work. Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
  18. Oh I see your fitting a new zorst. Could do with a decent car friendly garage / workshop round this way to get my HFC and pipes on. Was talking to a local garage and they just lobbed all the bits in the back, gouging holes in the relatively decent condition plastics not sure I want to give them any cash after that.
  19. Yeah that was me. ^_^ Must have been your flash that drew my eyes over that side. Most of my attention was taken up with the nutters changing lanes last minute on way to motorway. That stretch is awful for it.
  20. Heading towards Titchfield / Park Gate. Unless there's another ginger zed with massive tarmac sportz stickers on it?
  21. Got lost trying to find Starbucks where I was collecting a thicker boot carpet. So I pulled in to quickly check google maps and noticed this: Unfortunately was in too much of a rush to hang around and see if the owner is a member here.
  22. This is covered in the stickies above, but when I fitted mine I just bought this kit: http://incartec.co.uk/Pages/Product.aspx?P=4482 Has everything you need. If the levels aren't high enough for you (probably won't be), you'll have to do the buster mod which is somewhere else in this section of the forum. You'll need to trim some of the inside of the fascia adapter as the Eonon unit is about 2mm too tall for it to fit over. Can confirm that all the music related buttons work, not 100% on the phone ones as I rarely take calls in the car.
  23. Ginger with a Y plate, sat in traffic approaching St Pauls roundabout eastbound. Didn't notice you till it was too late. Then an Azure 02 plate passed me and I followed heading east through the 50 zone past Bournemouth
