  1. *Edit* Not quite sure what I did here, but I posted twice and now can't get rid of this post See below of what I meant to put
  2. I got a 5 Litre container and paid £45, so works out at £9 a litre, a little cheaper than the average Meguiars / Autoglym spray detailer cost. Obviously this product isn't meant to be used after every wash making it even better value for money. I've never personally used Sonax BSD, but have used loads of other spray detailers and spray waxes from tonnes of different companies ranging from the entry level product for £5 a litre to the high end stuff that's £18 a litre. Genuinely nothing comes close to the immediate protection this product provides and ease of application. To be honest I'd be more than happy with the product even if I had to apply it after each wash like I usually would with the other spray detailers, just down to how easy it was to dry afterwards and the protection it has provided. The paintwork feels like it's just been clayed and waxed!
  3. Book price is a tricky one! I remember my Dad having a completely stock Cupra R (this was quite awhile ago by the way!) and wanted to part-ex it for another car at a dealership, they came back to us with a book price of £2500, even though it had only done about 2500 miles a year since new, only 1 owner (being my Dad) and it was absolutely mint, not a scratch or dent anywhere. Other Cupra Rs online were priced around £4000-£5000 with high mileage and nearly all had been remapped. Needless to say we didn't accept their offer and sold it within the next 2 weeks on Pistonheads for £6000, the chap who purchased it from us said he had been to see loads of examples and nothing came close. I think it's completely down to how desirable the particular car is, and like ZMANALEX said primarily down to the condition and history. This 'tier' of car will vary alot in price because there will always be people willing to spend that much more on a great example.
  4. Taken from the product specification: New from Bouncer's is Bead Juice. A Nano Tech Exterior Protection Sealant that can be applied either wet or dry. - Bead Juice is perfectly safe to use on any other coating or existing wax layers. - Can also be used on all exterior inc glass/plastics/alloys etc. Keep your car protected and looking cleaner for longer. Dry method. As you would a Quick Detailer, very light mist onto a panel, spread well with soft buffing cloth, turn over cloth and buff again if necessary. Done. Wet Method. After your usual wash method i.e rinse after shampoo, spray the product onto the wet panel and rinse off straightaway. - The product is very active, so you can 'level' out the product as well by spreading with a soft MF or sponge applicator, then rinse off - Dry car normally. Thought I'd treat the Zed to the highly rated Bouncers Bead Juice a few days back, after hearing how easy the application is I was a little skeptical to be honest, but the results speak for themselves! Worth noting the Zed had very little protection before applying the product, so it was up against it before I even started! Got mine from here: http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/bouncers-bead-juice-exterior-nano-tech-sealant-5-litre.php I went for the "Wet Method", simply washing the car thoroughly first, rinsing off and leaving the car wet, applying the product and rinsing off. It's genuinely as easy as that! Video showing the little protection the Zed had before applying the Bead Juice: Video showing the protection the Zed now has after applying the Bead Juice: The product is meant to give up to 4 months of protection, I will be sure to keep you guys updated as to how long it lasts. Impressive stuff none the less though!
  5. to the forum! Very nice looking Zed, with the best colour seats too! Not that i'm biased or anything
  6. Superb looking car, looks in great condition with quality, subtle extras added. 100% worth what you're asking, no doubt in my mind you should get that all day long. A low mileage HR in that condition are very hard to come by. Good luck with the sale mate!
  7. I think considering it is from a garage rather than a private seller, the price is acceptable taking into account the year and mileage. Also worth bearing in mind you will get your 3 month warranty with the car, although it seems most warranties that are supplied with used cars these days are not worth the paper they're written on, but worth keeping in mind they will have factored this into the asking price. As mentioned above by Aashenfox the exhaust looks a little wonky and is further out on the right hand side (see below) http://pictures2.aut...e15369c11164d05 possibly down to it having some work done on the exhaust (quite a common issue with the flanges rusting on the stock Zed exhaust). On the 9th of April 2015 the MOT states "Rear Exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases (7.1.2)". Again, worth noting down as if it's something that you want to rectify and straighten up at a later date as it's going to come out of your pocket. The issues you listed above are worth getting prices to fix, writing them down and going to the dealership and seeing if theres a half way deal to be had. I'm sure they will offer to have some (or all) of the issues sorted in-house. If they are happy to sort all the issues, make sure you're happy with the fit and finish of the jobs once completed, you are in no way inclined to accept the car just because they've attempted to sort the issues you've brought to light. If they are only happy to fix some of the jobs, prioritise the jobs you think you can sort yourself EG the aerial and possible buffing of the scratches (depending on how deep they are) and knock those on the head and get them to fix the other stuff. The key is not to fixate yourself on that particular car if things don't go to plan when you speak to the dealership about sorting the issues out. There will always be another Zed for sale (even if it takes a few months to find) but on the face of things I personally think it's a good value example and if they sort some of the issues out, worth buying. Print yourself off a few buyers guides: http://www.350z-uk.c...6-buyers-guide/ http://www.evo.co.uk...50z-checkpoints and keep an eye on things to look out for, take as much time as needed to have a good thorough check over the car and it's history. All being well you'll be driving around in your newly acquired 350z in no time! Hope this helps
  8. Have you got any pictures of her? How you finding the Zed experience so far? Anything around the £200-£250 mark is good value I'd say, there's quite a bit of fettling required to get the bumpers to sit perfectly around the headlights so if they're fitting it just make sure you check them areas when you're picking her up, otherwise it'll be a case of removing the arch liners when you get home to re-adjust, which is a bit of hassle!
  9. No problem at all, fire away! :-) They are Tarmac Sportz side diffusers sprayed in gloss black. Super easy to fit and look superb! https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/interior-and-exterior/350z-tarmac-sportz-frp-side-diffusers.html
  10. Is it a standard bumper or an aftermarket one? Is the bodyshop also fitting it? I'd allow anything between £250-£350 for a standard bumper to be sprayed and fitted, and probably anything up to £450 for an aftermarket one as they can sometimes be a PITA to shave and fit! Edit: to the forum by the way! Just saw it's your first post
  11. Thank you mate! It is indeed a Mines style lip, not awfully easy to come by for the facelift cars, but got mine from RT Performance and had it blended into the front bumper at the bodyshop. Definitely transforms how the car looks!
  12. No problem what so ever, all added I had a look through the posts and there's some great info in there, fingers crossed more members add their wheel setups as it's great to see what the wheels look like fitted. Thanks very much bud, there's tonnes of offsets and sizes for them wheels. Some of which aren't shown on their website, so it's worth giving the guys at ProjexUK a ring, or ping them an email with what you need and they'll be able to help! They weigh around 26lb a wheel, they're around the same weight as my GT4 wheels which are an inch smaller (18") and an inch narrower, so they aren't too bad on the weight front. Thank you mate

  14. to the forum! Definitely get some pics up! May I just add, that is the most spectacular username I've seen on this site.
  15. Thank you for the welcome Connor I will be sure to post pics of my Z before I do anything. A very Happy New Year to you and yours Definitely post some pics up, is that her in your profile pic? Hope you've had a great Christmas and hope you also have a great New Year!
  16. Morning Ricky and to the forum! Be sure to attach some pics to your post of your Zed! As far as working on your Zed, it's always worth a search on here to see how difficult some jobs can, or can't be. There's tonnes of in-depth tutorials and It's surprising that the jobs that look daunting, can sometimes be quite straight forward. Unless it's an engine swap, or something along those lines, in which case it may be worth paying a professional!
  17. Morning Hiro, as I was reading that I was trying to imagine how ludicrously loud that must have been, but also how awesome it must have sounded at 150 with the supercharger It's funny, because even though you know full well it barks above 3500, in your mind you don't think it will bark as loud once you're in 6th gear at that RPM, but it obviously does. I can totally understand that if you are doing anything above 110-120mph (around about when she starts to shout in 6th if I remember?) on a daily basis for a prolonged amount of time, some may call it borderline antisocial, as blasting past someone at 150 on the Autobahn probably created a few clenched arses! Shame you haven't got any fly-by videos though! ;-)
  18. When I get the engine swapped and get it back on the road Ill give you a shout and take you out for a spin in it Hopefully be done by the end 2017 haha. That would be awesome mate! 100% give me a shout, would be good to even to just see one in the flesh as well! Thank you mate, wanted to go for something different! Thank you!
  19. Get Adrian ^^^ to hook you up with a tasty Motordyne TDX2 exhaust system and add some ART pipes (instead of the sports cats) to the mix as well, you won't be dissapointed! I got mine from Adrian and it makes me grin from ear to ear every time I drive the Zed! TDX2: https://www.torqen.u...tem-md-004.html ART Pipes: https://www.torqen.u...pes-md-001.html
  20. Hi semmco, I've always used Michelin Pilot Super Sports and although they don't shout about being high performance "wet" tyres by any means, I've never had an issue with them at all. I use the car every day for the work commute, so it's been through its paces with different weather conditions, and they haven't let me down once. Added benefit is that they're absolutely incredible when the roads dry out as well!
  21. Cheers mate I think so too. Yeah there are not very many at all these days as rust is hitting them quite hard. Haha yes the neighbours hate us. And that is only half the fleet lmao. I also have a Porsche Cayenne, Audi A4, BMW 118d and of course the Zed lmao. Might start hiring them out lol. Yeah I can Imagine, like I say I've never seen one in the flesh before, would like to though! You must be hard pushed with what car you want to use each day haha! Thanks fella! Can't beat the MPSS! Hi kbad, no need for any spacers at all with these widths and offsets. The wheels are just bolted straight to the hubs. Hope this helps!
  22. to the forum! Absolutely stunning car, looks superb!
  23. to the forum and good luck with the Zed hunt! You'll find tonnes of info here, be sure to keep us updated with how the hunt for the perfect Zed is going
  24. Really cool photo! Something different than the standard cockpit shots, something like this throughout the year, in the day and also at night would look great in an album
