  1. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your search!
  2. Thanks, don't see many Zs with grey wheels, I think they complement the body colour but it's not everyone's cup of tea :-) I don't THINK I would put them on mine, but I do think they look awesome!! Appreciate it :-) Like I said, it's not everyone's cup of tea. When I got the car they were grey, but recently had them refurbed and got a shade darker, I like them and you don't see many Zeds with that colour, so it's something different haha! Thank you bud! Thank you, appreciate it! Thanks Payco, I think the Zeds execute the simple stuff really well without making it look OTT. Possibly thinking of something for the rear next, but quite liking the way it's lowest at the front, a little higher in the middle, and higher still at the back, but we'll see haha! Once you start tinkering it's incredibly difficult to stop
  3. Hahaha I can imagine! Dog house for you I reckon?! I think it's one of those things, some people love cleaning their car and others just don't find it enjoyable. Can't beat the satisfaction of standing back afterwards and seeing them shine! Thank you mate, hadn't really done anything to the exterior until recently, but really happy with the outcome. Don't jinx me haha! Weathers been half decent here recently and is meant to carry on throughout the week, fingers crossed! You know I'll wake up to a pigeons version of the Mona Lisa over my bonnet if it doesn't rain anyway! Thanks, don't see many Zs with grey wheels, I think they complement the body colour but it's not everyone's cup of tea :-)
  4. Thank you! Thank you, have got abit of a soft spot for them, think they suit the Zs really well Thanks, one of the main reasons I went with black to be honest! Happy now I've got some black on the lower half of the car haha!
  5. Thank you bud! Really happy with the outcome, wasn't sure whether to go body colour but definitely happy for going with the contrasting black
  6. Cleaned the car today and managed to get a few pics afterwards
  7. Got my car back from the body shop having the RT Mines lip fitted onto my bumper a few days back, and yesterday I finished it off with fitting the Tarmac side diffusers, went for gloss black on both parts. It's made the car look completely different and I'm loving the new look! Managed to clean the car today, and get a few snaps too! Tell me what you think! Before: After:
  8. Ahh damn, that's a shame. Would be good if there was a sticky with peoples locations and what exhaust they're running on their car, so that you could message and meet them so you can hear it in person before buying. Wouldn't have an issue meeting up with anyone local to me to let them have a listen, and what it sounds like in-car.
  9. Thanks, my phone which I used to record the cold start and the few revs captured the sound alot better, but still isn't a great representation of what it truly sounds like, very difficult to capture how deep it is. I'm in the Sudbury / Bury St Edmunds area. Not sure how far that is from yourself?
  10. Afternoon all, managed to get a few videos of the exhaust today!
  11. Haha the sound is intoxicating, I'm finding myself driving around in 3rd/4th just to hear it bark above 3,000-3,500rpm haha! I managed to video a brief cold start, a few revs and a few pulls (although the GoPro makes the exhaust sound so different because of the case on it) today. Ill post the link up now! I'd love to hear the difference between two Z's, one with the ART Pipes and one without, to hear the difference.
  12. Would just like to say a huge thank you to Adrian for supplying me with my TDX2 + ART pipes, great communication throughout and incredibly well packaged products. Exhaust sounds the absolute mutts! Brilliant trader, will use again for sure.
  13. Thanks mate, your car looks stunning! Thank you! If you haven't heard one in the flesh, I'd thoroughly recommend meeting up with someone who has one, sound is incredible! Are you local to the Suffolk area? Currently driven about 200ish miles and can hear it becoming deeper already, can't wait to hear what it sounds like once the miles keep racking up! I can't wait to go through a few tunnels, the sound resonates enough off of buildings in the little villages around where I live! haha I wasn't sure what to expect as I'd only heard the sound from Youtube videos, but upon the first start up I knew It was the one! Thank you again for everything from start to finish Adrian, I appreciate it.
  14. Thanks guys. Like I said above Rich, its almost too good looking to be hidden under the car isn't it? Fantastic looking and sounding system. I couldn't believe how much it transforms the sound of the car, you don't lose that very distinct VQ sound, it just enhances it into another animal all together.
  15. Finally got around to getting the TDX2 and ART pipes fitted, and one word after driving it for a day, WOW. Lets start from the beginning... After doing lots of research into which exhaust I'd like to have on my Z - I wanted great quality, needed to fit without too much hassle, needed to suit the car, and most of all, needed to sound awesome! I stumbled upon the TDX2 on a few Z forums, I read about the great fit, ridiculously good sound when paired with the ART Pipes and overall superb quality, and after watching a few Youtube videos - I was sold. I saw that Adrian @ Torqen was doing a group-buy for some Motordyne items at the exact same time, so added my name on the list. Within a few weeks, I was the proud owner of a incredibly shiny and (almost) too good to put under a car, exhaust system. I'd like to take the time to say thank you to Adrian for sorting the whole process out for me, from start to finish and keeping me in the loop at every point. Onto the fitting.. (Sorry about some of the blurry photos!) [Old system off] [ART Pipes on] [XYZ Pipe] [X Configuration Resonator] [Mid Pipes] [Rear Canisters] At this point, the major work was done in the workshop and didn't want to take up anymore of their ramp time, the minor adjustments and fixing of the tips would be done at home! [Another undershot] [Moved the clamps around a bit so the threads weren't pointing down towards the road, and won't snag on anything] [And finally, to finish it off, the tips! Went for the 4.5inch rolled stainless steel to keep the system looking stock-ish] All in all, the fitting process was quite straight forward, it was just the little bits at the end to make the system sit perfect that took abit of time. But for an exhaust that looks, and sounds this good, it was totally worth it! I live in the Subdury/Bury St Edmunds area if anyone who is considering getting this system would like to hear it in the flesh, as after hearing the video's on Youtube, you can't get across how deep and rich of a tone it creates. I'm going to try and video some revs, and in-car footage at some point, because this thing sounds ridiculous! If anyone is considering getting this system, trust me when I say, bite the bullet and go for it, you won't be disappointed.

  17. Connor, without going into my thoughts on these people again, they are well recorded on the forum! I am sorry you are in this position. If that's the case surely the warranty company shouldn't offer the policy without the option or did they not tell you about the OEM cover option when it was sold to you, sorry not had a lot of sleep and my brain cant work it out from the thread atm. Ed Sorry for how long winded this topic is, some things that have happened get a little lost in all the text. The warranty company have told me first hand Junction 17 should offer this 'OEM' additional pack with every single warranty they sell with their cars, otherwise when you go to claim, you will only be offered cheap aftermarket parts. Upon speaking with Junction 17, they tell me they've never been told of this 'OEM' option by the warranty company, and that's why they don't offer it. The issue is, is that Junction 17 DO tell all their customers that genuine parts are included with this warranty when selling it, when it clearly does not. The main reason I paid for the warranty was because I was told it covers all parts 'Like for like' and genuine parts included. Yeah, after doing some research into the company and the reviews that go with it, it appears it's got a very bad reputation with their aftersales. I wish I would have done some research before purchasing the car, but like I said previously, I got suckered into the experience as the pre-sales were brilliant, the best i've ever come across. Because of that, I presumed the promises that I was told about the after sales (which were mean't to be incredible) were true, so I took their word for it. Wow, like you said, you'd imagine a standard test on these zillion point checks would atleast be the hazard lights! It appears most of these warranties aren't even worth the paper they're written on, the thing that really rattles my cage is the sales pitch that comes with them. They're just full of false pretensions tricking you into taking them out, and when It actually comes to using these 'amazing' warranties, the promises aren't anywhere to be seen nor the person who sold it to you! Almost the exact same line as Junction 17 gave me when selling me the warranty! All VAT approved garages are apparently included, even main dealers. What I thought would be an interesting test would be if I would have brought it to a main dealers, like they say you can, and asked them to change the control arm bushes (which you can't buy separately from Nissan, you have to buy the whole control arm like I did) what would the warranty company say? As they were only willing to put racing bushes on my car as I don't have the 'OEM' option, would they tell me I infact can't use the main Nissan dealership, and I'll have to go somewhere else? Or is this another false statement from Junction 17, maybe you can't bring your car to a main dealers after all? I don't see why they can't just sit you down, and tell you straight up what is, and isn't included with the warranty. So it at least gives you a chance to make a educated decision on whether to take it out or not. I understand In my case I wouldn't have taken the warranty out, so they wouldn't have made as much money, or commission. But they would have saved themselves, and myself all this agro that has now been on-going for weeks!
  18. That's exactly it Sargara, if it wasn't for me ringing the warranty company up and asking about the bushes and control arms then I wouldn't be any wiser. But they've told me that they would have been replaced with genuine Nissan arms no quibbles if this extra add on item on my warranty was selected. I've been told by warranty company that every single dealership that they are partnered with, should offer this OEM add on to their customers purchasing a vehicle. The reason this is on going, is that I was told genuine parts were included with the warranty from Junction 17 but it appears that's not the case, so I'm basically sat here with a warranty that definitely doesn't perform how I was told it does.
  19. Exactly my thoughts when I was on the other end of the phone! I actually found it quite comical, I'm in two minds.. One of which is saying perhaps they are genuinely being messed around by the warranty company, but from past experience of Junction 17, and reviews from genuine customers on this forum and others, I'm siding towards the other frame of mind. Which is that they're simply playing the game of, "see who holds on the longest" and after an amount of time I'll simply give up and say 'I can't be bothered to waste any more time on this issue, or the company' and be done with it. In my line of work i'm in conference calls and meetings quite often with important members of companies, and I have yet to go on a call, or go to a meeting and be 'stood up' by the company and its members joining me; and for them to simply 'not show up' with no pre-warning simply doesn't happen. Especially with people in the position of directors, as they're busy and have tight schedules. Not to mention if they genuinely didn't show up, If I was Junction 17 I'd be straight on the blower seeing what the heck has happened and why its happened, as I've got incredibly important customer concerns at hand that need sorting ASAP - But I guess that's the difference between us, and them! I found it quite disappointing that no one had rung me to inform me of what was happening, but having a poor experience with the General Manager before hand, it didn't surprise me after hearing Jamie had left and wasn't working there any more. Like I said before, I'm not one to try and damage any companies reputation, working with customers on a daily basis I understand that issues arise, but it's totally down to how you handle them. I never try and leave bad feedback of any company I deal with, and always try to find a positive outlook on my experience. I'm just hoping they can resolve this issue, but it's looking bleak and I'm definitely not holding my breath!
  20. ------------ Update: ------------ - I received the cheque covering the cost of the pads I had fitted, due to the ones that came with the car having under 1mm left. Which was good, thumbs up for that.. Which was a good start, but the main concern which was the warranty and how it was sold to me, unfortunately hasn't been sorted... - I got both lower control arms fitted at a garage on the 2nd of June as the knocking noise became more apparent, and also started on the drivers side too. I obviously paid this out of my own pocket, as I was told conversations were still happening between Junction 17 and the warranty company. - I spoke to Jamie again soon after they were fitted, and he assured me they were still in conversations with the warranty company, and that I needed to forward him my invoice for the arms (which I did immediately after the phone call) and then I would receive an update soon after. - Fast forward a few days after the phone call, and I still haven't heard anything back. I ring up Junction 17 and ask to speak to Jamie, and I was told he was ill and wasn't in work. I then spoke to Neil who told me they were going to have a meeting with the directors of the warranty company on this Tuesday (16th) and would bring my concerns up, and get me an answer there and then. I would then receive a phone call after the meeting with the outcome with my control arms and my warranty that apparently doesn't cover genuine parts. - So here I am today (19th) having just rung up Junction 17, after still not hearing anything back from this directors meeting. I spoke to someone on reception who tells me Jamie doesn't work with Junction 17 anymore (quite convenient considering he was the one sorting my concern out) and then passes me onto Neil again.. I ask Neil what was the outcome of the meeting on Tuesday, and was told that they "didn't turn up" so the meeting didn't happen. Obviously wanting an answer after having to fork out for both control arms I asked when I will receive an answer, and he wasn't too sure as the warranty directors "hadn't rearranged the meeting they were meant to have with Junction 17". Neil tells me they are hoping to have the meeting before the end of the month, and he will have an answer for me then. So for now I'm left hanging hoping that this "meeting" will ever happen, or if I will ever receive an update or closure on my issues with the warranty and Junction 17. I'll be sure to post back again when I receive another update.
  21. I know what you mean, I'm not holding my breath with any of these promises but i'm genuinely hoping that they can reclaim what little is left of their after sales reputation. And that my review isn't considered the 'norm', fingers crossed! I've just posted an update which unfortunately is looking a little bleak to say the least! Thanks David, I sure hope so too. I can believe they call this a malicious forum, I think its mainly due to them not having any positive feedback on here, but they're the only ones responsible for their reputation and after sales feedback. It's truly a shame that someone like myself and others would even need to go to somewhere like this to get our issues resolved, even though many people have been left out to dry it seems! I've posted an update as to where I am currently, and i'm not really any further forward unfortunately.
  22. Afternoon all, My issue with the warranty wasn't that they aren't willing to replace the arms or bushes like for like, it's that they have said they would replace the whole arm for a genuine article if this "OEM additional pack" option was offered and selected when the vehicle was purchased, and that option wasn't offered to me. ------------------------- I do have an update though: ------------------------- Jamie from Junction 17 has been in contact, and he is trying to resolve the issues mentioned above with the directors which I truly appreciate. As the bad service wasn't induced by him or the sales team what so ever, it was the management side. - They have agreed to forward the cost of the brake pads replacement as a good will gesture, for the bad service I have received. For which I am very grateful for, as I wasn't expecting any compensation what so ever. And after speaking with the general manager originally, I thought his verdict of the £17.50 pads was the bottom line which I didn't accept. - As i'm getting the replacement genuine Nissan arms with bushes fitted tomorrow, they have asked to be forwarded a copy of the bill I'll be getting so they can ring the warranty company and investigate why the OEM parts option wasn't offered. As I've been told, Junction 17 have never heard of this option, and as far as they know cannot even offer it to their customers. I've been told they will be fighting my corner, as they were also under the impression genuine parts were included with the ultimate cover. As the warranty can go through main dealerships, If I would have brought my car to Nissan, they wouldn't have used after market parts would they? - I've also been told the General Manager is going to be spoken to, regarding the way he has communicated with me, and how brash and unprofessional he has been. Also the reason why he didn't even offer a middle ground, or better option when I refused the £17.50 pads after the MOT didn't pick up the sub 1mm rear pads. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as and when I get updates from them. But for now Jamie and the directors seem genuinely bewildered why both situations I have had were handled in such a poor way, when they should have been rectified with a matter of a few phone calls. Fingers crossed they keep to their word!
  23. Yeah exactly, my thoughts were reassured by the salesman and their false promises about their stellar after sales helped seal the deal for me. Its a shame a business can still be operating after all the bad feedback they've received. But looking onwards, I've learnt from my mistake and created this review just so everyone can see from start to finish what my experience was with them. Hopefully it will help someone make a decision to use them, or not use them for purchasing their car. Truly love the car and compared to some on this forum it does seem like I got away lightly, as the repair was work carried out. As I know some have been left with empty promises which is terrible. I live in the Sudbury/Bury area so not sure how far away that is from yourself?
  24. Afternoon Migwel, I was in the same boat. After seeing the car with the different alloys (I believe they are GT4 alloys but I could be wrong) and with low mileage, sat nav and the alezan leather I knew it was the car for me. It's just come as a real surprise how much they lull you into a false sense of security before purchasing the vehicle, I usually don't get suckered into that sort of thing and unfortunately this time I did.
