As some kind of gauge I would have said that a custom exhaust would cost around the 300-350 mark in London that's if you were going for the japspeed k1 / k2 look, obviously that would be fitted If the exhaust you have is standard it means it won't be stainless so doubt there will be anything they would do that wouldn't be a bodge. I would be looking at any flexi sections if it were blowing, so yeah you may find that it's something that an aftermarket system wouldn't have cured anyway All in all getting them to price you up will show you where the problem is straight away regardless

You can actually find these on YouTube. I know I've seen the k1 with Berks myself People have put them up under "japspeed exhaust" it's just a case of clicking through the videos and looking at the tail pipes and you will find them eventually

I know there was a couple that recently had exhausts made in the Wales region (I know that's too far from you) one owner had a 370z the other a 350z and both seemed happy There are a stack of people that do this in London. Power flow being the most obvious (they have quite a few branches all over) I've heard good things about style dynamics in Hayes (I'm sure they even make custom induction / intake pipes. Cost wise honestly that's like asking how long a piece of string is as there's stacks of options with a 350z. Single y pipe back, twin y pipe back, twin y pipe back (with side mounted back box), true dual, additional decats, tail pipe / can options or something completely bespoke. Personally my best advice would be check what's out there on the used market, there are lots of systems available for the 350z and if used can be had at a fraction of the new price. Also check japspeed, they do 4 different systems all for different looks and sounds at reasonable prices and then if you still want something different type "custom exhaust" into Google and click on map then book an appointment at a place near you for a quote I hope that helps

That's with a £2000 "cash" (as it seems so important to you) deposit to secure the car on the day. Using finance makes no odds to you, the money gets put straight into a business account from them and it's availbe to do with as you wish, even withdraw from the bank and look at the "queens heads" if that's what makes you happy If there is anything of any solid relivence in the rest of your text please feel free to highlight them again. I think we may have our wires crossed, the k2 is the one that looks similar to Fuji with one large side mounted centre box. This is actually only something to make do for now. I have something to collect while over in the states I will be going down the y-pipe route and then checking the sound on that setup before going decat

I agree most people will point straight at the speed issue but let's be honest these cars are 3.5l with performance heritage so people will travel at "over the recommend speed" If all cars were limited to 70 what would be the point to spend our the extra money

I don't think it was Greg that I was dealing with, all I can tell you is that it was a young guy who really couldn't be bothered at all. I didn't get to the stage of bartering the price because the guy I was dealing with couldn't be bothered even with the smaller questions, as said as an experienced salesman myself I know you have to put some effort in. Talking to the customer rather than playing on your phone being one of them. It's not just me, my wife was there and she couldn't belive I waited around that long and put up with that service. I have to add my wife is looking forward to me picking up a zed so it's not a case of her wanting to be elsewhere. I'm personally not bothering with the place anymore, really wouldn't waste my time.
