  1. Price out of curiosity?
  2. Thanks people, the only concern I really have with in built sat nav head units is if I manage to get myself one that decides to keep turning down the music to tell me pointless info like the Dj's on old pirate radio stations
  3. Just curious if anyone knows roughly what the UK spec sat nav unit goes for on the second hand market and if you have a cubby is this just a plug and play install? Thanks in advance
  4. Joker have you still got this?
  5. There are always different mods that can be applied as its a custom touch which is just limited my what you can imagine. There's a company that can add projectors but again it's another expense and who wants £1000 headlights once your done with everything lol. Ultimately Kyle is right, if you want iron man you will have to get 06+ headlights, retro fit them and get them modified
  6. This page has a tyre calculator, have a play and it will show you how close you can get to original rolling radius http://www.autopartuk.com/tyre-calculator/

    Rota GTR-D

JoKeR you could always go down the route of a refurb, just depends on how much you want them really

    Rota GTR-D

The issues with those adverts is that JoKeR is after the "D" which are the dished rota gtr's and personally I wouldn't go with anything welded but that's me. Not knocking you bradders, top marks for checking but yeah the D's are harder to find a good set
  10. My issue is more the point of getting a trader to snap up one I like to then get it from them at a decent price lol
  11. Spoke to Paul today, he only shows 4 cars on the site but has more in stock. The cheapest he has is an 05 plate with 61k miles. He's looking for £7950 though which really seemed on the steep side as it didn't even have the forged wheels I've spoken to him in regards to what I'm looking for and the budget and he's going to see what he can dig up. Thanks dugg
  12. I just done a search on Google and found that, my best advice is to type in "350z 20x10" and take a quick look. It seems a couple of people have done it but offset will be key so compare what they have an then it will tell you how to proceed. I'm not sure what the standard front strut looks like, bare in mind that most people already have their cars decked before this and standard shocks sometimes have a large cup holding the spring where as coilovers are real slim. I know tradlink have a car with 20" wheels at the moment and they know their stuff. Maybe give them a quick call and ask a few questions if the above suggested doesn't work. I haven't got my 350 yet so this is the best I can do advice wise
  13. This link should help you out. Pretty detailed http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/29337-20x10-front-wheel-offset.html (He made a mistake with the tyre size he put in)
  14. You should be able to get a good or even better deal when taking their finance as they`re making money on that too. I thought it would just be the finance company that got the extra money on that side of things as they are the ones actually buying the car for you. Unless it's independent?
  15. I agree the newer 350 does have some nice choice extras. It was just the colour of that interior I don't think my eyes could handle What year does the higher tax bracket come into?
  16. I think what I'm going to do is wait until the end of the month and look over all these places listed again to see what's available then. I presume you can still barter price even when doing finance? Just not sure if dealers would be more stubborn or not
  17. Thanks Jim, just had a look and the Orange are actually growing on me but that interior...... :-/ I think it's abit marmite, I guess some love it but I think black leather would go down a lot better. My personal opinion though. I'm trying to stick to my budget as much as poss. Upped it to 7k total from the original 5k due to dealership but I don't think I want to go any higher unless it's something that really takes my fancy.
  18. I have thanked those that have helped. I haven't asked for financial advice. There's a good few posts along with the content of the topic starting post which support that. All I ask is that things stay on topic
  19. Already stated tradelink in my first post and I check there regularly, just don't have anything in stock at the moment that fits the bill In regards to keeping the car on the road once I get it I have covered this in many of my posts thoughout this topic. I am financing a car because I havent got the complete funds for 350z that fits the bill at this moment. I really don't see what people's issue is with this. When I get the car if it needs a repair, it will be repaired, if I feel it needs a carbon bonnet it will get one. My question to anyone here that feels the need to repeat the same question of "do you honestly think you can keep it on the road" (because this is bugging the hell out of me know) is: I am using finance to offer up £5k value and spead that cost to have a car I like. If your car needed a £5k value repair, would you not prefer to spread that cost? It's the same concept I know tyres will set me back, I know how much it will cost in fuel, I'm aware of the tax, the insurance, the servicing and pleasurable mods. For the last time I've owned cars much like this before so please don't assume because I havent got the funds for an outright purchase that I'm a corsa owner in a land of ferraris as its starting to get rather offensive. All I have asked for help on is if you stumble across somewhere I can check for a car that fits the bill to please let me know. Any mods / admin that read this I know it may seem like I'm going into a rage but I have asked for a certain amount of help in one direction and I've clearly stated my "displeasure" at some comments in here. I have been around owners clubs, shows, meets (as I do actually own in partnership) my own club. I feel I can offer help and am one to speak up when people ask for a helping hand rather than being a member that merely reads but I appologise in advance if anyone gets snapped at for asking the same question again To the many people that have been of help I honeslty thank you. Can we just keep on topic now
  20. I did actually see that one, I remember seeing the gear knob. The age doesn't really bother me to be honest but I have asked about 3 different traders about finance on cars which were either 2004 or the car happened to be just over the 100k and they have said they can't offer finance on those cars. They haven't taken my details so it's not a case of not being able to offer me finance. Do most dealers have that benchmark they have to stick to?
  21. Awesomesauce, I will give him a buzz. Thank you
  22. #88 Kuro black PJ05 OHZ 69500 miles Found another
  23. As most others have said use the restoration kit, it does wonders. Plastic from 90% of jap import cars does the same thing. Me and friends all had the same issues with our r33's. I used to keep a bottle of meguirs scratch x in the boot and go over them every so often
  24. i used to work in a parts store. We sold anything from OEM to after market for many cars. Never came across the option of being able to just buy a lense though. You could try getting a cheap second hand non facelift set and just using that lense "BUT" that would no doubt require some dodgy retro fit. As hard as it's going to kick you in the wallet I honestly think the only way to go around is to go online searching through breakers yards hoping someone else clouted the other side
