  1. Hopefully attached. Living here snow is quite normale in winter.Dunlop M3 winter tyres and roads like this become easy.TC off, second gear and hardly any revs-couldn't be better!
  2. Over here in Germany its compulsory to use them, and yes they work very well and are brilliant in the wet.Dunlop M3s thoroughly recommended.
  3. Thanks Brillo, interesting that I have the lower profile on my car, bought straight from Nissan (I'm 2nd owner) with the 40s on the front-just assumed (yes I know) that was correct! So my next fronts will give a much needed ride height improvement then.
  4. Sorry to jump in but having done a fair bit of tyre testing I would say stay away from the Uniroyals simply because the sidewalls are a lot more flexible-ie-they do not respond very quickly to changes of direction. As an aside, always thought standard size fronts to be 225/40/18s?

    OSF Bi-xenon

Not sure yet but I might be selling both sides-07 bi xenons.Trying to decide on whether to TUV the car (would need lhd lights) or t o sell the car and buy one over here, Germany. I have no idea on what the rhd's are worth but would not be looking to rip anyone off though (best leaving that to ebay) lol.
  7. What, and accidently sucking up the carp as well?
  8. After some differing views on the adjusters actual roll, exactly what do they adjust-the projector or reflector please.
  9. Just an update-got a call from a Spain based company who "go to great lengths to get the customer the best possible deal".It was for a pair of second hand lhd xenom lights. I laughed when the caller told me they were only €1500.
  10. To answer the op's original question.I dont actually own one but have track driven them since the engine change.Yes, its a very capable car-comfortable-lots of toys etcetera BUT it is very heavey and start to push on and the bigger engine makes its presence felt on the front end. Owning one was an option but over here EVERYONE has one. Most of the regular visiting Brits have them (Brit Mans Workhorse) rough translation fromGerman. Keep the Z, I'm keeping mine for the very high speed stability, the generally excellent mechanical grip generated when driven properly is far better than the M3.
  11. Many thanks BM, quite atractive price for thos lights-cheers.
  12. Thanks for the replies, problem being in germany is the lights , if changed, need to be TUV approved so not sure if the American alternative meets those requirements. Does anyone know IF thr adjuster can be repaired please. I know of the American lights on ebay are only around 750 euro per pair so with the pound being €1.25 ect.
  13. As the title suggest's, I have recently moved abroad bringing the Z with me. I found the usual left/right adjustment thread/s from couple of years back on google. Trying to wind the left headlight to give a right bias and the adjusting wheel seems to not connect with the worm? adjustment.Lefthand light has always been set well left but not a problem in the UK.Now I want to move it to the right, It simply will not adjust at all. When looking at the projectors, its quite noticable how much difference there is between the two lights.I know about the cut off patterns etc-thanks to the previous threads, but is it possible to access the adjusting mechanism from outside of the headlight 'shell'? Many thanks in advance.

    Rays wanted!

Dont know if your sorted yet? Have you looked on ebay.de-I just bought a set complete with nearly new winter tyres for €253!!!! There are other sets available for similar money and getting a company like Anyvan.com to collect and deliver doesnt break the bank.
  15. Yep-did all of that, had enough of it hence its new home.
  16. There might still be one south bound A14 near Cambridge services-thats where I binned mine after getting so peed off with it constantly giving false alarms automatic service station doors!
  17. Sorry for this but Michelin/Dunlop on the same axle? Any handling discrepancies left to right.?
