  1. My noise is there almost constantly, no matter how big the bump! Even on roads that seem smooth and level..
  2. I also have a knocking/clunking noise, I cannot pin point if it is front of rear. Had my local garage look at it and they saw my W brace was completely rusted to nothing, so they did that for £300, the knocking was just as bad after that. Now they want to charge me £400 for the rear shocks as they think that will cure it.... Im not rushing into it, I would rather they knew 100% where the noise was coming from, which they should be able to do quite easily, as they deal with this sort of thing day in day out!! Here is a video I found, the noise I am getting is basically identical to this... Not sure if that is the sound your getting OP?
  3. 'OH GOD.................... OH GOD'
  4. Well that was, Different.
  5. Bonkers. At least with the Zed being a two seater it's doubtful you'll have to give too many of them lifts anywhere. Quite right
  6. Looks great, I would love to go on drives with my friends but none of them can drive yet... Edit, well they can learn to drive, just they choose not to...
  7. As I said, I was not planning to put it directly on the bumper, but due to the bolt coming loose in the bumper which was used to hold the plinth on, I had not choice! Had work early the next day! It will do for now
  8. Hello and ! I'm afraid all exhaust systems are likely to decrease MPG as you are more inclined to make sweet music. !
  9. Jealousy, or a very drunk lad/lass lost there footing...?
  10. Started with the rear, set out to get rid of these awful frames.. Before After!! The rear was easy enough and looked so much better afterwards. Then a few hours ago I decided to work on the front plate.. Some before shots (also had the awful frame on) The plan was to take the branded frame off and then just stick the number plate on the original 'plinth'.. I then decided that I wanted to have a look under the plinth, and possibly give it a coat of paint as it was a bit shabby. So I took it off.......... I then changed my mind, and thought I will leave it all as it was originally until I have time to paint the plinth and what not. Then this happened. The flipping bolt that the plinth screws into became 'un-stuck' and was loose inside the bumper. "F**k" I did not have time to do anything about it and just decided to whack the plate straight on the bumper, none of the holes are at all visible but it still is bothering me knowing that they are there. So maybe later on I will get it done properly. But for now, I must say, I am extremely happy with the way it looks.
  11. Love this guy! He is so enthusiastic when performing any kind of acceleration, in any car, the joy on his face!
  12. Hello and ! Any pictures you could share with us?
  13. Brillos last/bottom image that is... I do not have a Cat
  14. That bottom picture is exactly what I have, sorry to confuse things again, didn't mean to say on the Y pipe! I meant to say there is a chamber coming from the Y piece past the flex joint.
  15. I was going the opposite direction, did not manage a wave as I was already staring directly at the car, waiting to see if I had been seen....
  16. Back to the Cat's... how do I tell if it has been de-catted? Would it just be the same width i.e just a pipe no chamber? I had a look and there is still 2 chambers on the Y pipe... God I sound like an idiot trying to describe myself! Edit - What I am trying to say is it looks like they are both still there!
  17. Are those red strips on your wheels alloy wheel protectors?
