I also have the non silenced Cobra system, I get the fumes, but cannot speak for the 'blueish' smoke.... I only really get the smell on startup and until the revs settle, its a petrol/Marzipan smell, I love it!

Totally worth it! I do see quite a few Zeds around whitely, saw a lovely silver one in the Tesco car park today.

Fareham, was out for my 19th birthday meal with the family when you spotted her, sacrificed drinking so I could drive my Zed!

I literally parked up, then a corsa swang in right next to me, abandoned it diagonally, with front right hand side of his car over me line!

That was me! Had a bloody corsa park an inch away from me!

I have used half a tank already, its only been 4 days! Im used to filling my Saab up once a month! Cannot complain though, still utterly in love.

I had to be at work for 9am, called Admiral dead on 8am, quoted my cheapest price yet of £1400, within 20 minutes I was insured! That Thursday night I was out for 3 hours driving, without stopping, I am in love. Who knew tunnels could bring such a big smile to my face... I am also loving the reactions the car gets, either when they hear me ( Heads turn ) or for example when my work colleagues have no idea what it is! Planning to get the proper size tyres fitted, get an alignment, wheel refurb (one of my alloys is dented ) and much more. Not planning any external mods like body kit as I think the car already looks great. Filled up once, dial read I had 350 miles on my tank, and my mpg has not fallen below 23, which is better than what my mother was getting when she was out in it.

It worked!!! Got my cheapest price yet! Paid £1400 fully comp at 19, on my birthday. Could not be happier, stayed out till 11pm driving for 3 hours, then the storms started. An absolute joy to drive. Had my GoPro set up recording it all, managed to scare some chavs that pulled out on me at a round-a-bout, (full revs in neutral... ) and also saw 2 other zeds, a gunmetal and a clean black 350, both of which ignored me! Thats a good price for your age. May I ask what your excess is? £500

I like the sound of that! I will give it a go tomorrow, and update everyone in the evening!

I may have to wait till saturday, as the price drops even if it is just 3 days from now....

I am 19 tomorrow and determined to get my zed insured TOMORROW. I have been playing about with quotes, if I set the 'what date in the next 30 days would you like your policy to start?' option to be the 17th (my birthday) the price is 1800.. If I set the start date to be 30 days time it is 1400............ What is life..
