Ok gang, so I have been thinking of replacing the Bose unit in my JDM , so I have been looking round for a new unit etc, I want Dab, Bluetooth etc but............ I have no idea about doing this my self and also would struggle for time etc, so can any one reccomrend someone who could do the install for me, I live in suffolk but don't mind going somewhere within reason and also what H.u would you buy? All opinions welcome as always, your time and comments appreciated. Thanks Rob

Morning all, thanks very much for your quick replies it really is much appreciated, I will look into getting that small tear repaired as the rest of the roof is in really good condition.

Hi all, I am looking for some help/advice on my soft top, a small tear has developed just at the bottom corner of the roof right behind my ear!!! It's is only small but want to know if someone has had this type of problem if so did they manage to get it successfully repaired? Is there anyone on here who does small repairs or am I going to have to replace the whole roof? Thanks as always in advance

Ok all, now I know this has been done before.....but just want to canvas some opinions, what are people's thoughts on Kumho tyres? Now I know Ekona and one or two others will say MPSS and I understand that they are probably the best? .....but I haven't got a fortune to spend and the Kumho seem like a good tyre for the money and reading reviews they seem to be pretty good, so over to you all opinions welcome.

Have driven both and bought a JDM auto, i love this driving experiance for me its a real pleasure, i drive 40,000m a year in a manual car so to get in the Z is a real pleasure!!!, but i guess it depends on how you feel about driving a fast car but to me it adds to the pleasure

Has the hood got a small tear in it ? If not it will b the window I am sure, can drive my roadster at 70mph and have a decent chat, good luck with the Z and don't forget if it's not raining the roof must go down!!!!

I had a GR for 3 yrs, great car, lots prefer the GPX with the Mivec, but each to there own, mine had the tip box which was extremely reliable and it will learn your driving style!!! As stated the alternator is tricky but once you know how to do it can be done in under 2 hrs, be careful of roof rust on early models there was a faulty with the roof lining adhesive which caused it to blister, and also join the FTO owners club lots of great info and really helpful just like this forum!!!

My vote is a passat Cc, I have done just over 60k in 18mths mega reliable , very comfy with adjustable suspension and all the toys, get the Gt pack , also returns me between 55-65 mpg dependant on how far and hard I drive. Only my opinion though big a big thumbs up from me.
