  1. Bummer dude, nice one for the update. Weather report, looking good and pre destination checkpoint details before for the run out.
  2. I agree, but were on about a weekly wash. All I wash saying is to most folks that don't have a DI filter like the OP, to try and dry a car after only pre wash is suicide imo. You know when you spot another car on the road that's just had a £4 special with missed bits from a the wash. That's small areas that were missed by the wash mitt or sponge. To then run a drying towel over that....... *shakes head.
  3. A proper wash includes pre wash, takes minimal effort to apply and rinse a TFR product. DI filter ftw, however the car will still be dirty.....
  4. My point was a pre wash doesn't yield clean paintwork.
  5. Given the choice between x1 BAL bucket wash with grit guard, compared to snow foam, pressure wash and then dry. All day long would it be option 1, I'd never consider touching the paintwork with a drying towel after the pre wash stage.
  6. Thats cool, folks can go to the cafe there for snacks until 12 also. I always find time flies at meets when chatting away. I'll be there of course from 9:30am, but any time after is sound
  7. Save you're back and drop to a single BAL bucket with grit gaurd, these hold so much more water the dirty stuff stays at the bottom. Ive used these for years and years and had no issues. PS always final rinse with an open hose to sheet the water away, makes drying a doddle. https://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod8768/bal-mixing-bucket-225ltr.html
  8. I find it takes no more effort to run a mitt over the car compared to a drying towel? Ultimately to have to touch everywhere with both tasks....... Bring a chair out and place the bucket on that to save bending down to it each time. For sections of the car below the waistline, squat with a straight back is best practice regardless. Just trying to give tips given me, as my little brother details for a living.
  9. You planning rear spoiler also? CS rear bumper needs a wing I feel to flow......
  10. Snow lance FTW!! When the neighbours are looking, Snow it up and go out to it with a Bic
  11. Stunning pal!!! What these cars do so well, the open road
  12. Great pics @b19b96 really pops those colours!!
  13. Yesterday found time to finish off the late spring clean. You know you're loosing it when you wash a car after 3 days and 6 miles worth of driving. Bilt Hamber Auto Foam 10:1 Hose rinse Two bucket wash with Megs Ult Shampoo Hose rinse Dodo Juice drying towel Autoglym SRP *2 layers aggregate. Soft99 Kiwami wax Went with Kiwami as I just love the stuff, so so easy to use and protection from this sealant is truly awesome. Apply to panel in traditional circular motion, finishing in straight lines. Grab your soft mf towel and buff immediately - done move on. Easy on, easy off. On the next wash before the Mids Meets, il dress the plastics, rubbers, slick the tyres and she's good. *beading shot taken from DW review.
  14. Also tested how quick the water sheeted after application from the panel..... TBF I know its easy to slat turtle wax products, I personally don't know why as a company like this tomorrow could throw millions at a product line and you better believe it could be a winner with that much R&D. Dodo Juice Future Armour Autoglym Rapid Aqua Wax Angelwax Blue Rinse Bilt Hamber auto-qd All of the above premium products tested state, can be used as a 'wax it wet' or drying aid......
