You won't notice any gains on these cars without an UpRev (remap). My old Zed (feels weird saying that as I just sold it) after an UpRev made 294Bhp@fly with Berks HFC's (High Flow Cats), Invidia Gemini exhaust system, H.Dev plenum spacer and a Stillen air induction kit. Standard it should have made 276Bhp so I was happy with the above especially as it was 11 years old at the time so bound to have lost some HP over the years. It's not all about gains though ~ after I had the Invidia exhaust fitted it transformed the sound of the car as before that it was all standard. Basically unleashed the true V6 sound and made every journey a pleasure especially above 3.5K rpm where it really came alive.

Yep just bolts straight on to your standard Cats. Exactly the same system I used to have on my Zed and I can confirm imo it is worth every penny.

Cheers buddy. Car has gone. Traded it in today with a certain car trader against a 58 plate Type R. I had to do it even though I could have maybe got a bit more selling it privately this made more sense to me. Anyway hopefully my old Zed will pop up on here again in the future. Mods can you please lock this and thank you to everyone for all the nice comments. -
So sorry to read what has happened to your car Tom. I'm fuming for you. Really can't add anything that hasn't been said already but just whatever happens keep your cool, be the bigger man and don't get yourself in the sh*t with the law.

I know bud but as you say "needs must". Definitely going to stick around. Hopefully passing on Zed knowledge to the newbies etc still & just enjoying the banter. Thanks Mark, ...gutted I never got around to buying some shiny bits off you though. Thanks Graham and yep I'll still be here. -
Very nice Kieran and well handled. Definitely looked like a challenging track in places.

^^ Thanks Sam. Really appreciate all the positive feedback I'm getting and although if I could keep this car I'd like to it really needs to go. Hopefully eventually it'll find a new home with another Zed enthusiast. -
Bought a Zed today - anyone know the car?

If you want to post pictures via Photobucket you just need to "copy" the "direct link" from the share links on the right hand side of the picture you want to post. Then in the "reply to this topic" box on here just click on the "image" icon (looks like a polaroid picture) and "paste" the URL code you copied from Photobucket into it. Hope that makes sense. -

Cheers Andy that means a lot. It is a shame and I was looking forward to the Zed finally having some proper garage space as the new house has a double garage, ...in fact it's actually bigger than a double even though it only has a single garage door so lot's of space inside to work on cars etc. I'm sure this won't be my last Nissan or possibly Zed but as this year is showing me you never know what the futures got in store. Definitely still got my passion for modded fast cars though so that'll never change. -
The fuel pump as Ricky said is in the fuel tank. It's actually in what's called the fuel bucket. About half way down this page linked is a "fuel pump installation": http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/fuel_pump_install/ Fyi a new OEM fuel pump would probably only be around £30-£50 tops I'd have thought. My uprated one was only £60 but they can run up to & well over £100 odd. Fuel pump O-ring here: http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Fuel-Pump-O-Ring/17342-01A00 Maybe worth asking Clark Motorsport about the pump too.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the Zed.

Yes there should be two pumps side by side (drivers side). Similar to this picture below....

I know nothing, ...just saw the guy driving off in your Zed in your thread about the Cooper S. I now realize that was just the Junction 17 collection driver. No probs Dashurik and you're welcome. Looking at more practical hatchbacks etc but will have to see what the future brings. -

Ok will keep an eye out for your news as it breaks then. Good luck deciding what to do as it's not an easy decision I know. Thanks Alize, ...hopefully I can find a good new owner for my Zed like you did. Definitely will be "lurking" around still. -

Same thing you did Ian. Just got to go through 2 Skylines, 2 BMW's a Toyota and then I'll be back in a Zed again. the way things are going my Z wont be here much longer either Bl**dy hell well might as well close the forum now then as they'll be nothing interesting to read in the build threads anymore what with DarrenB finishing his Zed & Octet selling up too. I guess that's an over reaction but still looking forward to seeing Project Zupra live. If needs must though, as I'm finding out, it has to go. -

Hopefully an enthusiast will buy it and continue it on the modding path. I'm open to offers as really I'm hoping to sell it within the next month or so before everything goes through with the house. That way I won't have to change my address details on the V5/Insurance. Thanks Andy. Thanks Dunks and I'm sure I'll hang around. -

Thanks Kyle. Re: Washer motors ~ literally happened in the last week as I stupidly didn't check my washer level and have burnt out the motors by trying to use it with no screen wash in it or by sucking up debris (fuses are fine, checked and all pipe work I can see clear). What with spending money left, right & centre at the moment I thought I'd leave it to fix them once I'd moved house but then I suddenly decided, just yesterday in fact, that really I should sell the Zed. I could have kept quite about them going remember but I've always thought honesty is the best policy. You are right though it would be better to fix them I know so will see how it goes & I'll give Clark Motorsport a PM for a new motor.
