  9. let me stop you there, it will be the loudest thing you ever heard on the road i ran straight through to a single can backbox, and that was loud, maybe loud isnt the word, but put it this way, my ears would be ringing when i got to work everytime you driver past a copper they WILL pull you, and even if they cant prove you dont have cats, they are just gonna look for things on your car to do you for i ran with no front plate for a long time, around 6 months, police didnt care, never got pulled, then with loud exhaust got pulled and bang, a fine for front plate, and handed a VDRS for so many minor things vids on youtube dont capture just how loud it is decibel wise this is mine with aforementioned set-up http://vid914.photobucket.com/albums/ac349/desey3/MOV_00931_zps4e7f9562.mp4 and again, its much louder in person obviously everyone has their own opinion, and that is mine, just please dont make the same mistake i did
  10. My old Vauxhall Astra 2.0DTI (first car) had a problem with the immobilser so when driving along to used to cut the engine briefly, and violently, the effect was like slamming the brakes on often it would do it repeatedly and in succession, so to anyone spectating it would look like i was kangarooing up and down the road, like if you were to keep stabbing at the throttle in first gear oh yeah and the alarm would go off while i was driving it and it sounded like a tractor and it was slow and it was a vauxhall
  11. been down this road mate, its cheaper to buy a used gearbox gonna set you back £400 - £600 but will save you endless labour costs, and if your doing it yourself, endless time
  12. I have painted many wheels with spray guns before, as I think done right it can be better than powder coat Lacquer needs to go on nice and thick but without runs, a pretty hard process but if you apply it thin you will find it harder to get a nice glossy finish and good texture and remember to polish down, never sand anything but primer Also you can mix metal flake into your laquer for added metallic-Ness, but you have to get your coats perfect otherwise you will have too much flake

  19. there are a lot of little subtle differences yes, but not all of them are bad ie auto fold mirrors centre console cubby thing is wayyy better different colours ECU can hold multiple maps as previously said i have had both an import and a UK (the import first, and going to a UK was no different really) only reason i changed was i broke it also insurance for me was the same price, changed about £20 or so, but that will be different from person to person
  20. why does no one ever post pics of there new car anymore?
  21. I live near silverstone track and the Shell garage always gets pumped dry of V-Power whenever theres a track day or a amateur event grrrrr but id rather drive 18 miles to tesco to get 99ron than to put 95 in it, i know it wont blow my engine up if i put over 50p in it but once i put in regular texaco fuel as i was desperate and that made my car feel like a
