  1. Fair and business is not always used in the same sentence, the dealer will understandably try and make as much as possible. £6200 does sound very good pricing due to the mileage and year can see why you are annoyed, so would I. I paid just under that for a 53 plate with 72,000 on the clock.
  2. Spotted 08 plate at Halfords
  3. Cool. Tell 'em I sent ya! Where you located then Steve? Already told them, tbh really surprised how well it looks
  4. reading but willing to travel for this mod, may even save me sorting out the small paint issues on the roof. £80 inc labour is a real result. However you have now cost me the £80 for the mod which makes you partly responsible.( need to stop looking at other owners cars). May go for the tint if the paintwork doesn't have to be done.
  5. Sent them a pm on Facebook, this could be my first purchase after the paintwork issues have been sorted.
  6. Brierly Hill, west mids think its near Dudley
  7. How much for the labour costs? Thanks in advance looks the dogs dangly bits
  8. Up for that only in Reading, seen quite a few in Windsor too
  9. My brother in law who is in the trade told me cat c are very difficult to resell, very few people are interested when they find out. Personally I would buy a cat c for this very reason and not many garages will entertain them for part ex
  10. I would consider having a word with tradelink, and see what they could do for you. Sure they could find Something in your price bracket and that fits your want list
  11. A bank statement with petrol payments highlighted to remind me to drive conservatively
  12. Nissan at reading quoted me £335 for a full service inc spark plugs and the usual with a full years AA cover and they said the other services were £149. I was really pleased with the prices compared to independent garages which were more expensive. mines booked in for next week.
  13. well apparently i am having a mid life crisis, jealousy me thinks
  14. 38 years old, full no claims and no convictions or points swift cover £408 fully comp and protected no claims living in Reading. However I did get a quote of over £10,000 from a company I cant remember it may have been Vauxhall. Don't think they want to insure performance vehicles
  15. yeah the shell garage only had the nitro version, not sure about the difference but will go with experience of owners which opinions I hold in high regards.
  16. nice, we got loads of folks with CCTV but cannot download it or is very poor quality. You pay for what you get and its frustrating when someone has paid out for it but cannot be used. Hope its a deterrent and you don't have to use it.
  17. Thanks guys, just put in v power and collected my loyalty card. There will probably more stupid questions from me so please be patient
  18. Just been researching and not impressed with the results online for 95 ron, so which is the best. I cannot afford to spend on repairs so would rather put in the right fuel from the offset. Shell V power or BP ultimate any suggestions or advice would be really appreciated. thanks in advance. Steve
  19. Looks very good footage and coverage, all I was trying to say is that CCTV will not prevent cars being damaged or items stolen. Most people who break into cars don't care about CCTV, as once they are in a hoodie etc they are hard to identify. Just out of interest can you burn any images onto CD as the police will require it if anything does happen. All the best Steve
  20. I was surprised on how easy it is to drive, half expected stalling it at the junction leaving tradelink on Saturday. Wanted one for many years but never been in the position to buy one, still smiling.
