i have accellera tyres on the rears of mine (purchased with them on) and cant complain, grips well in dry but not great in wet. for the price id recommend

Hi guys, what's the best way to stop the car rolling through the bends. It's lowered on springs (not sure what type as was done before I purchased car) but they are really soft. I used to have a Mini Cooper s with coilovers, roll bars, camber plates, drop links and stripped out and don't really want to go back to the really bumpy ride it had. The options are either coilovers, or roll bars..? Opinions? Josh

Get a compression test and put it on the rolling road to measure afr's and actually see why it's not running well? And how much power it has. If you think it has a similar power to 221 scoob then it's obviously not right

I had a smaller plate on my mini and had no trouble. I guess it really does depend on the local police and how bothered they are.

I upgraded from a 2002 Mini Cooper s modified to 220 bhp. Not much slower than the z with the weight difference and handled like a go kart. I miss it a bit in all honesty Minitorque.com is the place to be for info mate

Well everything I wanted to do has been done already which is good. I need to learn to drive it properly as its my first RWD and coming from a Mini Cooper s on coils with roll bars etc its quite different.

Yeah I work with him, good lad! Err I've had it nearly a week and the only things I think I'm going to change is to add a proper patch lead for the head unit for the steering wheel controls. I'm looking at coils too but that's not so urgent really enjoying it!!
