  1. no mention of the APS twin turbo's which all of the film cars had, me think's it might not be completely true... Funnily enough there was another one a few months back claiming to be the same car, I know they have 5-6 of them made, but I doubt 2 are for sale in the UK at the same time. If it's the genuine car, there should be some documentation to prove it.
  2. How much for a dead block? the wife would love a wine rack, and I'd love a block in the living room Thinking I can combine them both
  3. Haha! I'd have priests chucking holy water over it if I had 666 on the plate AND a Darwin fish  My mum used to make me park in the car park down the road from her church when I picked her up from choir a couple of times as she didn't want people seeing the plate on the red audi I had at the time
  4. Mine has 666 in it, it's good as anyone in the know can tell it's personalised, yet it's not obvious. Supposedly the DVLA didn't issue the 666 numbers out, they had to be requested.
  5. Going on this theme what do people think of the following; J222 SHC J444 SHC J555 SHC J666 SHC J777 SHC J999 SHC Doesn't look as good as the one above but maybe people think it's better than J666 COD? J666 COD is better, all of the above dont look like Josh This ^^ Oh and then please stick one of those Christian fish things on there too
  6. or they steal the car on the test drive
  7. Yeah, the words "friend" "brother" "buddy" etc would give more of a sense of security. Ie, an endearing term towards the person they're trusting to purchase a car for them
  8. so I take it you haven't had one ? yet can offer an opinion Nope, I can't see the point in £90 of ugly cables of which no one can offer conclusive proof it does anything at all. If you give it even half a google, you can see that tens of tests have been done on a range of cars and forums, and the answer is always the same, 25% say categorically no, 25% say categorically yes and 50% say I like the look of the cables so I don't care. How many timeattck/drift/drag/track day cars running the standard engine do you see with an earthing kit on? I don't recall seeing any, because they all keep the standard earth points in good condition which means they don't need 200 metres of cable. Granted, some uprate the ECU earth points if they run an aftermarket one. It's like those bracelets people wear with magnets in to "aid recovery" proven load of tosh, but millions of people still buy them. Show me some impartial evidence showing the awesome benefits of a grounding kit, which aren't based on opinion and demonstrate that the same result wouldn't have happened if you'd cleaned/renewed the oem earth points, and I'll happily buy a kit for £100 and fit it tomorrow.
  9. See IMO, they look naff I'd agree with coldel too, I personally think they're a bit of a placebo. A car manufacturer isn't going to spend millions designing a car and then accidentally under earth it. If you're having earthing issues, cleaning up the standard earth points would be my suggestion.
  10. go back to mishimoto, you get a lifetime warranty with all their products
  11. I just feel sorry for people who actually do work on oil rigs or ships and need a friend to buy a car on their behalf. As soon as I read the sentences about being in one of those locations, I delete
  12. I put mine on retention a while back when I had some uncertainties about work, money etc. It meant that I could get a rubbish car and when it died throw it away without multiple fees for moving the plate around. My plate is important to me, it was a present from my parents for my 18th, so I didn't want to lose it
  13. He can afford it, he's got more money than God.. Owns a major car and truck recovery company. Alright for some aye?! Does anyone know why the plate 'C8 DDY' doesn't seem to be registered on any car but at the same time I can't find it for sale? Surely it's been issued if every other C* DDY is already registered or available? It's probably on a retention certificate. It's owned by someone, just not on a car.
  14. In fairness, I don't see why you'd need to tell any potential buyers, so long as the repair is a proper one and a not either a stopgap or a bodge? When we bought our house we had a plumber check over the heating system the house had before we exchanged contracts as it was warm air and from the 70's. Everything was in decent working order, but a year later it packed up and we had to replace the whole system with radiators etc.
  15. I have to ask... If Codd is the name you go by and love so much... Why didn't you register on here as Codd?
  16. Isn't that the lesser known "NopeImNeverGoingNearThere Fish?"
  17. you're not there, so I thought I'd keep warm. Then the boiler packed in
  18. If you keep the chimney coming out the middle like this you'll be ok: This is how people from "north" live right?
  19. Arapaima are getting properly rare these days! Awesome catch! Has anyone seen the river monsters episode on the pacu? They're supposed to be vegetarians, yet they'll eat anything if they have to. There's a lake in africa where they were introduced to provide a food source for the locals, they're actually now causing issues in that they're killing everything else off, even baby crocodiles and birds!
  20. Drifting - Where the drivers have the most fun... How often do you manage to test your 0-60 on the motorway? I either test my 0-10 or my 60-70 range on an average drive? Edit: Big Mc in da house!!
  21. I bought a Z to smoke the sh1t out of the tyres, it does that job very well!
  22. That looks like it could be the cables for the indicators. You may need to whip the rear bumper off to check properly
  23. Welcome, there's a fair few members out near Bournemouth
