  1. It's to do with the ECU's not the car.
  2. Thats why you barricade it in there, so when you wake up you can send your mum/wife in there, and they aren't allowed out until they find it.
  3. Yeah but the cats just play with them, what if they bring one to your bed and it's not dead???
  4. **** YOU!!!!! WHY DID I READ THIS BEFORE I WENT TO BED, GOD DAMN IT!
  5. Because its about 3 times the price for a straight bit of metal pipe. The issue with Power Flow Ian is they aren't true custom. What I found out is, they basically stock loads of different angled pipes etc and connect them together, it's like lego. I think there is someone in brighton but can't remember the company name which will make you up a pipe on the spot. Failing that, go to Birmingham and go to MIJ Performance
  6. a friend of mine downloaded the video of one these beheadings and said the same thing - that he just calmly sat there waiting for his throat to be slit Yup, the first one he sits there and basically slags off his family and country before he is happily killed? Just seems odd.
  7. RIP if it's true, But I feel like these beheading are a fake publicity stunt. just find it odd, that if I was to know I'm about to die, I wouldn't just sit there...
  8. Go custom dude! Mid pipe will be around £100.
  9. It was just me being curious. It's not something I need. Was just wondering as the older generation just seem to think - Fully Comp means you can drive anyones car....
  10. Aye, So it's a - You have to be over 25 and Fully comp rule?
  11. Okay, just a quick question.... How do you know if you are insured to drive other cars? When I take out a policy etc, there isn't a specific question to say 'Do you want to be insured to drive other cars' Is this just a older generation myth? As my Grandads assumption is, if you are fully comp, you are insured. But I'm pretty sure this isn't the case.
  12. How much for the Engine, and is it still in Situ to tick over?
  13. Miss you so much already buddy..lol Think hard as to what you want to achieve with the car Long term as while you have that engine out you have many options available to,you,(forced induction, forging etc) which would normally be out of the question if the car was running well and your hand wasn't forced like it is now. Sounds like you love the car and don't want to give up on her so take your time. Is always going to be a tough decision what ever I decide. End Goal? It's going to have to stay road legal as I'd miss you guys at meets too much But I feel like I want it to be a bit like 'the bitch' instead of a daily drive. As much as I'd love a Forged Engine, It's pricey. And as Dan says, I don't want an unfinished project. Lets say Engine/Forge = £10k. That £10k Could be split across (£2/3k engine) Suspension, Bushes, Headers along with a lot of needed touch ups for the car. Even with a stock DE engine, I can still go the FI route along the line, just have to play a safe BHP. I've still got a fair bit of time to think things through, but I feel like the sensible option is to bring her back as she was. And go from there. It's not what I want, but it's what WILL happen as apposed to what MIGHT happen.
  14. You mean 'is worthless in the wrong section' Anything after Silver 313 GT, 73k, fsh, with factory sat nav, black leather, rays, 12 months MOT, 11 months Tax, Is irrelevant.
  15. Clutch & add a light weight flywheel maybe. Where are you going to get long tube manifolds from though? I thought the only ones about for the 350's where the Supersprint ones which where ridiculously expensive. Where there is a Tarmac Sportz, there is a way
  16. What I was meant to ask was, whilst the engine is out, apart from the Manifold, is there anything else worth upgrading?
  17. Okay, So had a little think and been talking around. Think my best option is to get another DE engine. I'm now going to work with a 6month time frame. SORN the car this month due to Tax running out. My plan is to focus the car on handling, had a couple of nice comments about my cornering on Track, so maybe this is the area I should focus on over performance. And while the engines out, may as well treat my self to some Long Tube Headers... Especially after hearing this noise - So over the next 6months I'll keep an eye on any written off zeds which can still drive and 2nd hand cheap engines. As well as that it gives me time to refurb some of my panels/bumpers and have her ready for next show season.
  18. all the exhausts you could want http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=32850911-9f8a-43e4-a5fc-24678e254d1d
  19. Want to talk about who's car makes who a poor man?
  20. You went through a lot of exhausts today will!
  21. Yep,I did the same with the 5, only waited 3 months but got a 2 year contract and the phone for £850 unlimited everything and the phone should still be worth maybe £200 trade-in Paying £700 for a phone and then the monthly contract on top is a bit rich really... Will see what three offer for my current £35 all in contract, if it is less that £100 then might be tempted I'm guessing thats the 6? On 16gb?
