  5. ok... but why not have a joint account and just split everything then have a small account each for your own little extras? or is that just old fashioned? No chance..she likes going to Selfridges to often...

  7. We have our own separate accounts, I have no idea how much she has in her's and I'm sure she has no idea whats in mine. We pay the mortgage out of the mortgae savings account, I pay the household bills, water, gas, electric, telephone broadband, insurance, etc and run the car, she pays the Council Tax and buys the food, I have no idea if one is paying more than the other as its not important, and we split holidays,
  8. You cannot carry over any unused amounts from one month to another, so if you have 38p to spend in Oct you cannot carry over 18p to Nov, but you can fill up the wife's car as well and give her your 18p .
  9. Tesco’s Clubcard Fuel Save, due to run until 28 February 2015, allows Clubcard holders to save up to 20p per litre of fuel. For every £50 you spend in store or at tesco.com/groceries, you get 2p off a litre of fuel. Then for every further £50 you spend, you get another 2p off a litre and so on, up to a total of 20p a litre.

  13. Mine is due on Thursday, so I'm taking it to Hi Tec Motors, just down the road from me. Don't think you need to take it to a specialist, I just tell them not to use the rollers for a brake test.

  16. Here is the 2013 split. 2013 Formula 1 Prize Money Team 2013 Standings Column 1 Column 2 Total Red Bull $35 million $66.5 million $101.5 million Mercedes 2 $35 million $56 million $91 million Ferrari 3 $35 million $45.5 million $80.5 million Lotus 4 $35 million $38.5 million $73.5 million McLaren 5 $35 million $35 million $70 million Force India 6 $35 million $31.5 million $66.5 million Sauber 7 $35 million $24.5 million $59.5 million Toro Rosso 8 $35 million $21 million $56 million Williams 9 $35 million $17.5 million $52.5 million Marussia 10 $0 $14 million $14 million Caterham 11 $35 million $0 $35 million
  17. Perhaps, but look at Williams: Last year they were nowhere, just 5 pts for the whole team (the same as in 2011), but this year they're third above Ferrari and McLaren. Okay, so they have the Merc engine, but so do McLaren and Force India. What I'm getting at is that they've made genuine progress, whereas Caterham and Marussia have gone backwards. It was a fresh start this year for all, and while the big guns would always have had the head start due to having the money, with the right people in place in the engineering department it was still possible to jump up a bit. And all that said, I really don't want to see 3-car teams. Williams have already posted a mid year loss of 20 million though. Success costs, a LOT That doesn't take into account their points money at the end of the season, which will be a lot more that £20 mill.
