Nico Rosberg extends contract with Mercedes Formula 1 team The Mercedes Formula 1 team has announced Nico Rosberg has signed a multi-year contract extension to stay at the Brackley-based squad. Rosberg, currently leading the championship after the first nine races of the season, joined the team in Mercedes' return to Formula 1 at the start of the 2010 season. The 29-year-old German gave Mercedes it first win since its return in the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix. Since then, Rosberg has scored another five victories and eight pole positions. "I am very proud to drive the Formula 1 Silver Arrow of the modern era," said Rosberg, who re-signed his contract earlier this week. "As a German, the heritage of Mercedes-Benz is very special for me, and I am proud to be able to represent the best car brand around the world. "It has been a difficult road to get to where we are now - but everybody kept believing and, thanks to the fantastic support from Mercedes-Benz, we are now leading the way in F1. "I'm looking forward to the next years together, when we will keep pushing to win even more races - and, hopefully, championships." Mercedes boss Toto Wolff added: "Nico has been part of the Silver Arrows project since day one and he has a big stake in the development of the team since 2010. His speed, commitment and focus have all helped to give clear direction and to drive the team forward. "With his performances in 2014, Nico has demonstrated to the outside world what we knew already in the team: that he is one of the very top drivers in Formula 1. "This new contract brings us important stability and continuity for the future and I am delighted to be able to make the announcement in time for the home race of Mercedes-Benz and Nico in Hockenheim."

One of the most impressive uses of Ultra-Ever Dry to date is as a self-cleaning paint that effectively renders car washes something of the past. The car manufacturing giant Nissan is the first carmaker to test the technology on automotive bodywork with its Note model, successfully preventing standing water, rain and road spray from creating marks and smears on the car’s surface. According to Nissan the coating has responded well to initial tests against rain, spray, frost, sleet and standing water. Further tests will be required before the Note will arrive at forecourts equipped with the Ultra-Ever Dry technology, but the move is already a very exciting sign of things to come. “The Nissan Note has been carefully engineered to take the stress out of customer driving, and Nissan’s engineers are constantly thinking of new ways to make families’ lives easier,†said Geraldine Ingham, chief marketing manager for Nissan Note. “We are committed to addressing everyday problems our customers face and will always consider testing exciting, cutting edge technology like this incredible coating application.†Nissan’s Note already features a special “wash and blow dry†function, which uses water and compressed air to keep its rear view camera lens free from dirt. But Ultra-Ever Dry will take the Note’s self-cleaning ability up a couple of notches. While there aren’t any plans to offer the bucket and sponge-defying paint as standard on Nissan models in the near future, the company is considering the coating as a future aftermarket option. The impact this technology will have on cars in the UK is considerable: Nissan has been the largest manufacturer of cars in the UK since 1998, producing more than 500,000 cars last year and employing over 6,500 workers at its state-of-the-art Sunderland plant. The company has been producing cars at Sunderland since 1986 and has invested billions of pounds in creating thousands of local jobs. Although it’s primarily an industrial product, applying Ultra-Ever Dry is a relatively straightforward one-step process. As a result its uses are endless – especially since the paint doesn’t just function as a protective barrier against water, in all its states from ice to steam, but also mud, cement and refined oils. Its main functions include anti-wetting (keeping products dry), anti-corrosion (protecting against moisture build-up), anti-icing (by keeping surfaces dry, no ice can form) and anti-contamination (materials and liquids containing bacteria and radiation cannot attach to the surface). Solutions other than car paint may include keeping boots tidy and protecting couches or rugs, but when you employ some left-brain thinking a myriad other options present themselves. These include protecting boat hulls against algae growth and shielding electronic boards from corrosion to extend product lifespan. When applied carefully to electronic equipment such as laptops and mobile phones, Ultra-Ever Dry could even help make the digital circuitry waterproof – promising news indeed for anybody who has ever feared knocking a cuppa over their keyboard.

Why would you want a Nismo one anyway when you don't have a Nismo Zed, Nobody can see the "Nismo" logo on it until you open the bonnet and then its such a small piece of the overall engine unless you point out to "people".."seen my Nismo cap"..??? nobody is going to notice..!! :scare: Just buy a genuine one from Clark Motorsport if you have to replace it..

Here' you answer. Auto Car Bra : Nissan 350Z - Full Bra Car Bra's are the ideal way to protect the bonnet and bumper of your car from stone chips, bugs etc. They cover areas on your car that could be prone to damage whilst driving, and in turn could help retain the cars value.

Our Car Bra's are manufactured to the highest quality from a water resistant PVC leather. They are also have a felt lining, so to protect the underside of the bonnet. The bonnet bras are very easy to fit and remove, they simply slide over the bonnet like a sleeve and then are usually fastened by 2/3 straps that fit on the underside so to hold it in place.

Both versions also incorporate wind-deflectors. These are a safety requirement and are they make sure the bonnet bra does not flap around at high speeds.

We offer 2 solutions, either just a bonnet version that just covers aprox 1/4 of the bonnet area, and a full mask which is a one piece solution that covers all the bumper and 1/4 of the bonnet area.

These are Available in a range of colour options (for a small additional cost), your Car Bra will be made to order, to suit your specific vehicle.

We can also offer a range of colors. Black is the standard, but we can offer the following at an extra cost.

Black, White, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Yellow, Dark Green, Red, Bordeaux, Brown, Light Beige, Dark Beige, Snake skin effect, Crocodile effect

"All our Car Bras are custom fit for your specific NISSAN model."
