  2. Saw a classic this afternoon. Traffic lights with a left hand filter and straight on, left hand filter goes green but there is a Lycra clad cyclist sitting in it who is going straight on and wont move so nobody can turn left on green, soon the hooting starts and then the cyclist starts the V signs and refuses to move, he so busy giving grief to the motorists he hasn't realised the straight on lights have gone to green so he still sits in the filter lane. As soon as the lights go back to red he peddles through them, still giving us poor motorists a load of abuse because somebody had the audacity to hoot at him...!!
  3. I have smoked rear lights, one has a small stone chip in it which can be repaired if interested PM me and I'll send you some pics, I had them for sale on here a while back but I cannot find the thread now.

  5. Don't think they'll fall for that one Dave. Been to Japex this morning and Ross and I solved the mystery and yes" they have put the tyres the wrong way round, got the wheels the right way round, 8.5 on the back and the 8 on the front, but they got the tyres mixed up, so to solve it they need to swop the front drivers side tyre with the rear passenger side tyre. :scare:

  8. im impressed you didnt crash and burn they way some memebers go on about tyres Haven't checked it they have put the right tyres on the right wheels yet,,!!! Maybe the 245 are on the 8 J and the 225 are on the 8.5 J..Who knows..!!! FFS. Definitely check the 245's are on tthe 8.5J's and then carefully make your point about how f**ked up it is ~ not sure if you could "white lie" and get away with it saying they caused you to damage your alloy?! Total muppets though by the sounds of it Will. I remember having the conversation with the tyre fitter and explaining to put the larger ones on the rear..they are now on the side...WTF...

  11. It gets worse....!!! :scare: I have just checked and I have 225 on the passengers side and 245 on the drivers side... What a bunch of D. Heads Motorway tyres are. Will be back to them rapidly tomorrow. thanks for pointing it out as I didn't bother to check..!! :scare:
  12. I'm sure you know this Will but just in case Rays alloys are different. E.g Front 18"x 8" and Rear 18"x 8.5" So the 245's should be fitted on the wider 8.5J alloys. Have the tyre place put the 245's on the front then after all? that's pretty stupid of them. Ignore that: Front Size: 18x8.0 Offset: +30mm Weight: 18.19lbs Tire: 225/45/18 Rear Size: 18x8.5 Offset: +33mm Weight: 18.62lbs Tire: 245/45/18 Ah ! I thought all rays were just 18" but the rear tyres were wider..??
  13. Don't get me started on cyclists in London...
  14. I was wondering that too? Hope you haven't put the 245's on the front Will. Did grundy help you fit them? Seriously though that sucks Will. I'd be pi**ed off to the max. You haven't had those alloys long either so hope it doesn't cost you too much to get sorted. You think they fitted the tyres the wrong way round on the new wheels.. I know the wheels are the same size, I told them to put the BIG ones on the back, I haven't checked..as I trusted them to do it properly :surrender: Will do in the morning..
  15. AUDI DRIVERS. Driving home this eve, narrow road, but enough space to pull in and let somebody pass.. Not Mr D Head Audi driver in his convertible roof down on the phone, drives straight at me as if to remove my mirrors. I had no choice but to try and get out of his way.. Curbed my rear wheel.. Not very happy..!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Good Luck for the future Matt, hope you continue to "lurk" on here mate.
  17. Mexico is back on the calendar for 2015. Who has been dropped. The Mexican Grand Prix will return to the calendar next year for the first time since 1992. The live events company CIE says that it’s signed a 5 year deal to stage the race in Mexico City. Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed the news and says that the deal will benefit both parties for many years.
  18. These definitely should not be on the road...!! :scare: Police intervened after four members of Sri Lanka’s Commonwealth Games team were spotted cycling down one of Scotland’s busiest stretches of motorway. Shocked motorists called police after seeing the athletes going for a ride down the M74, around 18 miles outside Glasgow, which is hosting the games over the next fortnight. The intrepid quartet were eventually stopped in their tracks as they neared the exit for Motherwell and Hamilton, where officers informed them they were breaking the law.
